I'll never forget listening to this album the day it came out. It released right on 9/11/2001. As i saw the horrifying news reports coming in i couldn't help but think it was ironic that that album released that very day.
+Matt Mcclain Fuck yeah it was crazy. I live in NYC. I bought God hates us all at Tower Records that midnight & listened to this album and fell asleep and then I awoke to heard about the Towers it has weird.
A week before this album was released I was in a record store. The had a sign promoting the album that read Slayer is coming on 9-11-2001. The background on the sign was a city skyline that was on fire.
Agreed, King Corrupt though I do prefer the first run o’ Lombardo records back when the boys had Animal beating the skins for them. Long live King Corrupt! \m/
I am the new hell on earth The lord of agony divine Domination, intimidation Lives within these eyes Reign of power Remorseless anarchy I am arrogance in the flesh Unleashed intensity Step aside for the nightmare Pure destruction stands before you No escape as the psycho Brings you misery The line starts here I am brutality the face of everlasting pain Annihilation, Obliteration Pulses in these veins Sheer defiance drives my hostility I am merciless to the core Chaotic fury breeds Step aside for the nightmare Pure destruction stands before you No escape as the psycho Brings you misery The line starts here Bring it all on Come and take on what you fear I'm the storm That towers overhead Ticking time bomb With an infinite charge Bringer of torture The master is here Everyone falls Here comes the pain You're no different from the rest Victim is your name in my vicious wasteland Here comes the pain Your destruction manifests Lying there broken looking up as I still stand Bring it all on Come and take on what you fear I'm the storm That towers overhead Ticking time bomb With an infinite charge Bringer of torture The master is here Everyone falls
@@Tarik_Molotov It was used as the opening theme for WCWs Thunder pro wrestling show, I guess Slayer re-recorded the song for that. It’s the only time I ever heard this version, but I can be wrong.
that moment when the dump you're taking is so enormous that you have to push harder than you ever have before except you had really spicy chili last night so you know it's going to burn which makes you afraid to push too hard but there's so much backed up inside of you that you have no choice so here comes the pain you're no different from the rest
The first song that got me in to them playing guitar.. the intro is sick as hell. I get called a poser because I don’t dress my music taste.. I’m girly with. A guitar with a love of slayer and opeth
youtube is the last bastion of the lost genrea of great metal theres shyt on here you CANNOT find anyehere else long live SLAYER and R.I.P JEFF you are missed
This album came out the week of 9/11 and the song talks about Towers Falling because of explosives and people falling from the towers. . Kerry King is a prophet.
Whenever this song would come on back in the day, my friends always knew to gather around me and laugh at how fucking hard I would bang my head. I most definitely have some neck/brain damage from that, but the intro gets me every time….
