Slayer live at their pinnacle was like getting hit by a freight train of adrenaline and losing your mind. The breakdown and bridge into Black Magic is incredible here. ❤ Hanneman
I saw 'em twice in 2009/2010. It was a lot of new slayer stuff paired with a short segment of classics like this. You didn't miss much tbh. Venom was great on the other hand :D
I got to see the 4 original members live before they kicked out Lmabardo the funny part was I didn’t even really listen to slayer at the time I only stayed to see the play Raning blood Live
@@Bcgizmo I'll be honest, I was never a big fan early on. I'm not entirely sure why, but I think it had to do with the crappy production quality of their early offerings... Haunting the Chapel being particularly notorious. However, after Seasons in the Abyss, they've really grown on me. And although I still can't stand the garage-sounding production quality of the early albums, I can at least enjoy most of the songs live on Decade of Aggression
Saw them at a small concert in New Jersey back in 1985 just after the release of Hell Awaits. I was in high school and they were brutal. I was in the front row and headbanged my way through the concert. Great memories. Kerry had hair and all four original members were young and hungry.
The trashcan finish from Dave was epic, those toms sound so sweet. A shame there isn't more of this quality of footage and sound knocking around. Decade of Aggression remastered and a full concert video to this level would be unreal
I was fortunate enough to see Slayer 2 times at the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto with Dave Lombardo and Jeff Hanneman, the concert was "incredible" the energy, the presence was there, I will never forget
I'll never forget seeing this on Headbanger's Ball back in '91! I knew immediately that I had to go buy the DECADE OF AGGRESSION: LIVE 2 cassette set! (I bought the 2 CD set later). I wish that this particular version had been on CD. It's mind blowing to know that DECADE OF AGGRESSION: LIVE is turning 30 this year!!
Was fortunate enough to meet Jeff and Kerry back in 06. Also saw Slayer with Bostaph, with Lombardo, with Gary and Lombardo, and finally Gary and Bostaph. Nothing better than the original 4 members. R.I.P Hanneman.
Back in 92 I along with 1,000 witnessed an amazing concert and that was SLAYER of course in a small venue in VEGAS! The mosh-pit was a sweaty and bloody hell but we loved it!!!
Everyone should have went to at least one Slayer show. I saw them at Lehigh university with Motorhead and Overkill..... On Halloween night... In a freaking gym. 1989....
Never seen Slayer but they were the sound track to my combat sports Carree. Walking out to a fight to the intro to rain I'm blood is like snorting a line of cocain!! Love Slayer
