this song does the same for me but i especially love sleater-kinney’s song ‘get up’ when i’m feeling down... makes me nostalgic for a future i know i can give myself if i try hard enough. that feeling alone can keep me going. sleater-kinney gets us all through our rough patches

There's a shot in the video of three girls at the very front of the stage. Two are physically into the song. One is quiet and staring ahead. That says it all...what a song like that can do for people. Very powerful.

Time for a lil history lesson. Carrie Brownstein was in a band called Sleater/Kinney, they began in 1994. They are amazing, Carrie is one my favorite guitar players. Been listening to them since 2001. I know her more as a musician than an actress. Do your research ALL their records are amazing.
