Sleep Token - The Night Does Not Belong to God | Reaction! 

Great reaction! It's awesome you started with the first track of their full-length debut. If you continue to travel down the Sleep Token rabbit hole, you'll definitely be rewarded. This really is an incredible musical project.

You are in for a treat with starting this band the way you did. Sleep token has just finished up a music project with their 3 first full length albums. I encourage you to journey forth in chronological order due to a soft narrative in the lyrics of the songs. There are many call backs and intricacies that add depth and complexity to their music as their grow more progressive with their genre blending. With TNDNBTG being your first listen and Euclid being your last, I anticipate that they will be your all time favorite songs. An example of some of the intricacy is in this song they are referencing a condition called Sundowning (the title of the album) where alsheimer patients forget much about their lives during the night. This leads to confusion and suffering. Strangely this song makes Sundowning a good thing. Referring to him hating every day life and every time he goes to sleep he forgets his suffering. He could be referring to his god named Sleep, who he met in his dreams some time back. "The Whites of you eyes turn black in the low light." He could also be referring to a relationship, past or present, which from other songs is pretty toxic. None of these are bad interpretations because they have yet to release statements, let alone interviews, about their music. The only exception was their one interview back in 2017. They are quite mysterious. Good luck and enjoy the excellent music!

Incredible progressive band

I only just stumbled into Sleep Token and I am obsessed. It’s everything I needed and I haven’t stopped listening. I do have to say that the new October Ends track is worth a listen though. More sexy vibes!

Definitely listen to their albums in order Sundowning / This Place Will Become Your Tomb / Take Me Back To Eden, their EPs too can't wait to see the reaction to Euclid once you hit the finish line, and then if you follow the breadcrumbs on the internet you'll find something even more crazy about this band's lyrics and melodies.
