Tangier and Marrakech train stations are gorgeous and much better than the ones we have here in Canada! The trains, especially the new TGV (borak), are also better than Via Rail's.... Enjoy your trip!
Yes I went to Essaouira, my next video will be about that city. Lots to see, and if you like surfing it’s great too. I wasn’t there during the festival but I did manage to see some fantastic traditional live music
Welcome to Morocco !! I wish you a pleasant stay On a side note : some vendors fake guides are pushy , real hustlers decline unapologetically NO You can bargain in Moroccan culture it’s not perceived as rude Peace !!
Yes I’ve noticed some people can be a little pushy, I suppose I am an easy target and kind of stick out haha! I’ve been practicing my bargaining but I’m still not very good! Thank you so much man, peace to you too 👍
Hi Bro Welcome to Morocco Next time, take the fastest train in the world from Tangier to Casablanca (TGV or BORAK train) and then another normal train to Marrakech. Your trip will be more easier. Hope you enjoyed Marrakech and Morocco and hope to see you again there. Love from Moroccan guy in Paris
Hey bro, yes I would love to take that train! I’ve heard good things about it and it would be much faster for sure, but I wanted to see what a night train was like. It’s my first time spending a night on a train! Thanks for the love man, Morocco has been amazing
I wanted to know about the sleeper train and this video exactly answers all my questions I was going to do the same thing as you but wasn’t sure to go ahead with it cs I’ve never done the transport like this
U said the train station is not too bad …bro it this new and, modern clean and a way better than the one in the most advanced countries , I have been in the USA, Australia , Canada and all over Europe … this one in Morocco is wow comparing to the old ones you have in the mentioned countries
You didn't get over charged for the taxi, keep in mind whenever you gonna take the big taxi alone you'll have to pay for all the empty seats because they work by seat, if you're taking it alone you'll pay for all the other 5 empty seats, always talk about it or ask locals they will provide some infos on how to do things without having to pay extra
@@fotr big taxis that works from a city to another take long roads that's why they charge a lot so it's better to go to taxis stations, when you go to taxis stations they wait until they fill all the 6 places then they go, ask locals how much it costs then catch a place, small taxis work with the counter, whenever you get in one tell him to run the counter so they don't overcharge you especially in Marrakech, I'm moroccan and they overcharged me in that city multiple times, good trip nice content and good luck
Hi, do you recall how you booked your tickets for the sleeper train? i am reading that this needs to be booked in person which will be difficult when we're going to Tangier only for a day
As they see that you are from outside, they raise the prices of food and if you want to buy something, so you have to haggle although it is difficult to negotiate food prices
You can make reservations on the ONCF website, however I found it easier to just go and get the ticket at the station, which is what I did in the video. You can always go and get the ticket for another day if you’d like
dude...that's not the first class sleeping compartments lol , next time don't shy away from asking for help or directions , we Moroccans don't mind helping others , and oh btw watch out for the scammers in Marrakech , and if you want to buy anything from the Souk try to negotiate the Price ! have a nice trip sir
Yes unfortunately I found out too late that I went on the wrong train. But the man working for ONCF told me where to go so I thought it was correct… still I had a pretty good sleep!
For someone who lives in Marrakech , u still havent visit a lot of cool places , but hey next time make sure u hit me up so i can make sure that ur trip gets so mush cooler than it already is . Nice videos btw .
Oh absolutely I’m sure there’s so much more amazing stuff to see and do in Marrakech, unfortunately my time was limited in Morocco, but in the future I’d love to come back!

You don't have to take the train at night because you don't want to take the hotel, if you ask anyone, they'll take you home to eat and sleep, hello everyone
In which world you expect to pay 15DH (1.5$) from the airport to your destination? I’m astonished of how some tourists are expecting everything to be cheap !
I was told there was only 1st and 2nd class, and my spot on the train matched what my ticket said and the worker told me it was correct so I thought I had it right
@@fotr there's 3 types of night train compartments, single, double and the one you were in, 350 dirhams is definitely a single bedroom, i'm assuming the mistake was on their end and sometimes things get lost in translation.
One more thing bro if you want to see the luxury life and best places in Morocco, get ride of your back pack and be ready to be spoiled by spending more money .so don’t expect a wow experience If u are spending the minimum ..and stop converting the currency just spend money go to 5 stars hotels and good fine dining restaurants u don’t go eat in the street..get a limousine service and hire a guid
I’m travelling the world for a year, I’m not a rich guy or anything and certainly wouldn’t be able to travel for so long if I used limousine services or stayed in 5 star hotels. Besides, I like to see countries how they’re meant to be seen, how locals perceive and experience their own country etc. and I’ve had a lot of amazing “wow” experiences even when keeping my spending to a minimum. I convert the currency as a way to keep track myself on how much money I’m spending, and so anyone watching from abroad can have a good idea of what my costs have been
I'm not so sure that the compliments about your shoes, t-shirt etc. were actually meant as compliments! I just got back from my seventh visit to Morocco, and in Essaouira was "complimented" numerous times on the pendant I wear around my neck, and the ring I bought in Cappadocia many years ago. But the compliments were just ploys to get me to go and look at "similar" jewellery the person was trying to sell! Incidentally, the pushiness of shopkeepers in Essaouira has really ramped up since the pandemic. You used to be able to walk around the town completely undisturbed by anyone trying to sell you anything, but not any more!
Yes I plan on doing Tik Tok and Instagram reels eventually, I’ve got some videos to catch up on first and a bit more practice with editing and then I’ll get there :)
I tried to make it look nicer and messed it up by accident! I’m keeping the clean shaven look for a bit but don’t worry the moustache will return better than ever!
Sorry, my friend. Whoever visited Morocco will return to it again and again. He will not love another place. This is the testimony of all those who visited it. It has a special charm. Beautiful seas, forests, deserts, nature, people's generosity and kindness, and the very beautiful atmosphere.
Do not be afraid of fraud, it will not be more dangerous than fraud by the countries of the West, Morocco is protected, thank God, you are just a nobody who is afraid of its shadow
With all respect to this tourists .. u come to Morocco u expect to eat for free or pay a way less than what u are paying now . At least u don’t pay as u do in your country and u complain like ladies ,appreciate that Morocco is still cheep less than half price than going back home , and taxis are a way cheaper than yours but yet you complain a lot .
I didn’t complain at all, never said I wanted to eat for free that would be ridiculous. And in all my Morocco videos I’ve said numerous times how much I love the country and how amazing the prices are, so not sure what you mean by complaining
Ohhh hahaha sorry, I took it seriously! Funny you should mention that though I actually did get a haircut and shave recently! I appreciate the support though dude have a good one!
