I am genuinely sorry for showing the wrong map of Morocco. Unfortunately, it's an error I can't fix, so I truly apologize if I offended any Moroccan. Thibault
I can dispute your house your country but that does not mean that they are not yours. look a little in history and you can know better what is Morocco and what are its real borders. the french and european colan has done what it has done to guarantee its interests by dividing the countries to the smallest. Welcome to Morocco visit Morocco you will see but where you are you can neither see nor know.
You are Algerian, why do you speak in the name of Moroccans, the Sahara is in his Morocco and Morocco is in his Sahara .. your fictitious republic is in Algeria and not in Morocco, your hatred for Morocco is indescribable, you want to divide our country and steal our heritage, it is not the Moroccans who occupied you for hundreds of centuries and raped your women and cut off the heads of your ancestors and put them in Paris museums, damn you hypocrites.
Anyone who’s taken the ferry from Algeciras or Tarifa to Tangiers will be familiar with the wonderful culture shock as they step from Europe into Africa. Suddenly, everything seems more vibrant, more colourful, more scented, bigger, and well, for a relatively sheltered European just so damn exotic! Morocco is quite possibly my favourite country I have had the luck to visit. It has everything: endless beaches, spectacular mountains, shimmering deserts, but most of all what I like about Morocco are the glorious cities. The sense of layers and layers of time and history and culture in every one of them (with the possible exception of Casablanca - although even in this sprawling, unwieldy metropolis, there is a fairly extensive and atmospheric medina), is glorious. For me, it has to be the pink city itself that takes the overall plaudits. Marrakesh is just so drop-dead gorgeous while being eminently alive. Touristy, but not too touristy. Fez runs it a close second though.
I'm moroccan and Casablanca is also my least favourite city but its old medina is charming ( every old city in morocco is special and has its own vibe and hidden gems) ! I personnaly prefer rabat , Meknès , Tétouan, tangier and Fez old cities 😍
A wonderful experience that contributes to the development and exchange of ideas and technologies in various trains around the world .Welcome to Morocco anytime Morocco for everyone 🇲🇦👍🏻 . I hope next time the problems will be fixed . Thanks a lot bro for this video I really like it.
Great efforts and well done video. I'm from Marrakech and I prefer travel on train than 🚗. What is beautiful in Morocco is that passengers become friends during their trip. My greatings from Marrakech
European architects could take the Marrakech station as an example for their somehow gross strcutures in our part of the world. Functional and cosy. Thanks for posting.
What a wonderful journey! I'd like to recommend another trip in Morocco, from Fez to Ouejda. The remarkable thing about this train is that it runs on fuel rather than electricity.
Very Good Video! You should try the öbb cityjet in Salzburg! Its a really good train. I think, ONCF is a very interesting railway company. Greetings from Germany!
4:14 big Mistake in the Moroccan Map why it takes only the Half 😨😨. Please be careful using the Map of my Country, it's kind of disrespectful to take half country... Thank you in Advance for modifying it.

I love old school locomotive hauled trains with a rear view. From a railfan perspective Corail coaches and German IC/sleeping car stock from the 80s and 90s is the best classic rail experience. It's a real 3D surround sound experience compared to the very smooth and quiet highspeed trains and the EMUs that are replacing loco hauled trains. This train reminds me of that. Very cool.
Hey thanks for making and posting this video! Will definitely try this out in Marrakech as I will be living here for the next year! With what phone did you filmed it?
Looks nice, and reasonable price... too bad we don't have anything decent at a reasonable price in the U.S... an overnight train, single compartment, could cost $400 to $1,000.
I agree with your comment. Europe and other countries heavily subsidize their passenger service. The high price charged on fuel is in part tax. This helps fund this efficient service. The USA is too engrossed in BS politics. Passenger rail has been neglected following WWII when people became enamored with their automobiles and air travel. The fuel lobby and other special interest groups are to blame.
You obviously haven't travelled on the trains in Australia. Everything from commuter to 'luxury' trains are super expensive! I've travelled on the fabulous Indian Pacific...but that was only because I won a court case and could afford the price of a small house to do it. The Ghan is utterly exorbitant, that's the price of a large house!🤣🤣 And yes @Gary Kulpers it is just as corrupt in Australia, the freight companies own the train lines so you can imagine where the money lies. Thankfully I live in England now.
Great trip. Station in Marrakech looks stunning and beautiful, and Tangier too. That sleeping cabin looks good for Solo Traveler but not good for Couple travelers. Fortunately the short circuit of broken temperature control didn't make the train trip interrupted. Really appreciate for ONCF, despite they didn't serve Food onboard, but they serve food when on arrival station.
I was supposed to take the Tangiers train back to marrakech in 2017. I decided to stay and extra day in chefchaouen and the locals told me it's better to safe time and cheaper took the long distance bus based on my flight schedule. My train from casablanca to marrakech in 2015 was delayed. I read that the French train had been installed since then. You need to try the Cairo to Aswan slow train. It's was mess in 2021, I survived the heat and the crowds 😵💫
Maybe I'm too used to the gentle Japanese hands because you're smashing things about in the train man. If you want it to last for everyone, take it easy on the train.
When even Morocco proposes individual sleeping cars, we know that there is enough lot of work in France with night trains... really good vidéo btw :-)

What full maps are u talking about? He’s using the map the entire world uses. Morocco is the only one using that fake a** map. The western sahara is independent.
@simon casanova it is and will be decided this month by the UN. So where are all these countries that are opening their embassies there? And why dont u go free ceuta and mellila. Do u know that your mimi6 the traitor gave it up for good to sanchez in return of their support for the sahara. he said they will support a UN resolution 😂😅
Wouldn't you know we're riding on the Marrakech Express. Wouldn't you know we're riding on the Marrakech Express. All aboard the train. All aboard the train. Crosby, Stills, and Nash "Marrakech Express" peaked at number 28 on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1969. They sang about goats and chickens and such as well as people aboard the train. Perhaps some of those coaches were part of your 21st century train ride experience. 1969. I was 25 in those days and remember the song well.
I like your continue on your channel just one thing please we must correct the map of Morocco we do not like people to divide our map the real map of Morocco is from tangier to lagouira in the south of Morocco to the Mauritanian border thank you.
If us Europeans hadn't been so stupid in thinking night trains were a thing of the past we could have kept these coaches and still used them. Still, it's good to see they didn't get scrapped and Morocco is using them well.

Marrakesh Trains station is beautiful!!! Your sleeping car accommodations looked comfy and pleasant. Sorry for the loud bang that woke you. I am surprised that food was not offered on the train. Did you eat breakfast at Tangier station?? Great video Thibault.😀😀♥️♥️
Hello! I saw on the official website that for the overnight train from Marrakech to Tangier, which departs at 9pm, only first and second class seats are available for sale, but the pictures show seats. Are there actually sleeper berths where you can sleep on the train? Thank you for your answer!
Should've reported that hanging temp regulator to the staff, there are technicians on the train that would solve the issue to avoid the risk of electrocution
I think the other train will go to Oujda or Nador because the last time I traveled to Morocco I took the night train from Rabat to Oujda, it looks a lot like this train
Really enjoying seeing your train travels and looking forward to see if you do ViaRail Toronto to Vancouver or reverse . Be interesting to see how Covid impacts the prestige services.
How easy was it to just turn up and buy? I'm concerned about the train being booked out. I've found a few websites online but kind of confusing what I'm booking......
Where did you book this single night time tickets? I looked at ONCF , it appears they dont have the 9:00PM trains. Am I looking at the wrong location? Please share a link to book the night train! Merci!
I read on a travel forum that the Tangier/Marrakesh sleeper cabs may be no longer available starting April 2022? I am planning to go this summer and a big part of my plans were to take the sleeper train from Tangier to Marrakesh. There is no way I can do that trip if i have to sit in a seat for 10 hours overnight. Does anyone have an update on if this is still running with a sleeper? Thank you.
@@expressivevoicework as long as you see it as available on the website you should be OK, when I tried back then it was gone and I was also told it was gone.
Did you find this info. out? I'm looking to head to Morocco in a couple of weeks and kind of concerned about whether they'll be tickets. The website is confusing....
