Damn, that sucks. Hope you can get it going. Seems like a stout motor. His is built of course but even in stock form it wouldn’t take a lot to make it fast considering the weight. Just some boost. His just made 505hp the other day on the dyno. I was there watching. 😂 This car is hilarious.

He’s using a 5 speed out of a Toyota Corolla

That’s a good question for the owner of the car. His Instagram is in the description. He’s a fabricator so a lot of stuff he made, but a lot of other things are kinda Frankenstein. Like the trans is from a corolla I believe he said. I’d just search the internet. I’m sure something will pop up.

I’m not sure,he didn’t tell me all that information when we drove it. Looks like 15” but I don’t know the width or offset. His IG is in the description if you wanted to ask the owner.

As far as handling power reliably compared to stock new small turbo displacement motors? I’m not sure what the motor is rated for now but he did just make 500hp last month on the dyno.

@@shaneomatic9188 Yes, What comes to mind are modern cars like the Chevy Sonic, Cruze and even the Ford Ecoboost 3 cylinders. They aren't setup to handle that many HP and seems to brake down.

@@firefrog101 so yes in that case it’s definitely a step ahead I would say. At 500 I’m sure it’s chilling honestly. He’s not one to max it out trying to make a number.

@@firefrog101 yeah but to be fair that’s comparing a stock motor to a built one. Stock motors like you mentioned were never intended to make high horsepower. I’m not sure how the aftermarket is with them but I’m sure it’s slim.

I believe he said it has a corolla trans. It’s a little more stout then the Tercel trans.

@@BapestaBapesta he said the 95-99 is the newer body style so the bumpers are different. The front lip he has is actually from some 92 Volvo that was at the junk yard 🤣
