That’s not a 65. Wrong headlight trim. Perhaps the fenders were swapped at some point.

I know what you mean by driving a non stored car it more useable, my dilemma is a 912 with a very bad paint job & an engine in bits, do I build the engine & drive it as is or restore it as the engine & gearbox is already out of the car!
