But made up for it by having the most overpowered spells so far!

I imagine this build works better if you use St. Trina’s Sword or any weapon that can rapidly build sleep; probably more of a spell sword than a pure mage.

Yeah but in these he doesn’t use anything but the incants/spells in that class that he’s doing

To add onto this, the weapons sleep build up isn't even close to the spells. The spells do a huge amount of sleep build, I have checked the numbers, it's just everything has insane sleep resistance so I basically only ever slept bosses once before they died, you are basically watching the best this build can be.

Considering that the mystic class is a. Not done yet as they still have the siofra rework coming and b. One of the few classes that are far more reliant on using melee with its spells I'd say its pretty strong. The spear of tranquility is pretty solid

This is me speculating, but I think enemies that start out napping/sleeping when you find them have a better chance of actually being slept (lions, knights, trolls, omens, bears). Opposite being deathblight lizards, tree sentinels, crucible knights, and obviously inorganic creatures/contraptions

Blackflame is in the next couple of weeks, but the lightning class will be a couple months after DLC.

I really don't like the fact that one of the spells makes sleep the same thing as bleed... it's kind of just useless and makes it stale

start with the essence remnant and pick the FP regen talisman, then go to where the turtle tali is in vanilla to get another essence remnant and then pick the one that gives 10% fp cost reduction for spells/incants it makes the early game as a caster WAY WAY easier! i also end up just using the FP AND hp regen shards for my physick flask since they both will last 3 mins... this way i dont have to wait long

This would be complicated and it’s already a very good mod but if the mod devs could somehow make it so that sleep makes a boss attack slower or less aggressive that would be so cool

Sleep feels way too weak, like any spells or attacks you waste building sleep outside of something like Godskin Duo, just feels like you're better off just killing the enemies. I wish recurring nightmare was better, it doesn't do much damage for all the set up compared to vapor or salvo.
