i hate how everyone is complaining about the crowd. THIS SONG HAD NOT BEEN RECORDED OR RELEASED YET, THE CROWD IS LISTENING. I DON'T EVEN THINK THEY WERE SIGNED YET.
+Jackson The Epic i wonder why people buy tickes to their shows>>>??? the live show total crap man. do you evern hear THE cleans??? why is that even considered as decent to record amazing songs and play them live like this....awful...it hurts my ears...i love the records...but live,,kjhgfdsuytrenjbgfds
I CANNOT believe that no one has been talking about how amazing the singer is. seriously, those notes are ridiculous as a male he shouldn't be able to do that. mad respect.
Ridiculously good. It's so hard to stay that high for that long and I respect him for not taking breaks, doing the screams and cleans, and just overall going for it just like he does in octave in the album. Well done sir. One of my new favorite bands.
Ohh yes he hit the really high "but I swear that I WILL NEVER leave!" at like 3:16. He is obviously a great singer in the studio so just needs time to actually get used to touring and being able to perform every night, I'm sure he will eventually be just as good as he is on the record!
He's an incredible vocalist. Not many people can do that live. Its so difficult to sing, move, and breathe in a live setting and he still sounds great!
It'll get easier for them to get into once the crowd wakes up. When their fanbase erupts they'll get more crowds who know all their songs, and then it'll go off. They're really talented, once they get a decent crowd they'll show what they're made of.
Just saw these guys at The Boardwalk in Orangevale! Amazing presentation! Love them! @ the moment they are one of my top five bands!!! This song really speaks to me!!!
Well. Can you be on that stage, at 11 at night, the hundreth song you've sang, reaching those notes perfectly? Do you NOT see how sweaty and tired he is?
i was that person when of mice and men came to australia last year, austin gave me a smile possibly the best moment of my life. crowd was exactly the same hahah
I'll be at your concert on March 26th in SLC guys!! Keep kicking ass and showing the world how awesomely amazing you are!! I LOVE YOU [and of course your music as well]!!!
This is perfectly fine for live! He made some mistakes but hey he probably can barely hears himself, and if you watch his acoustic videos you'll see what an amazing vocalist he is (:
People who are bitching about Kellin not sounding good. This video came out in 2009, this was one of their first performances. They weren't used to performing live. Watch their performances now they are a million times better. This isn't even bad anyway.....it's not an easy song
IM SORRY EVERYBODY THAT HE DOESNT SOUND EXACTLY THE SAME AS IN THE RISERECORD VERSION. COME ON ITS A CONCERT WHETHER HES OFF ON SOME NOTES OR WHATEVER HES HAVING FUN AND WE SHOULD ENJOY THEM AND SUPPORT THEM IN ANYWAY WE CAN. SLEEPING WITH SIRENS ILL BE THERE TO SUPPORT YOU ON SUNDAY!!! I
I know this was a long time ago so they weren't that known and I know that they're WAY better live now but I can still hear it in the the first minute. all those notes and lyrics that would make me stand in absolute awe of them. That first minute makes me an immediate fan and this live version, while not as good as what they do now still would have done the same and its still better than a lot of other bands live.
My band just played this venue there are signs everywhere that say "NO CROWD SURFING, NO MOSHING, YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT!!" It ruined the whole experience. But there was no problems hearing yourself the monitors in the front were really loud and crisp.
kellin is like one of my friggin idols!!! talking to thim after the cleveland show is one of the highlights of my life :D so hummblee. he was like telling me i can do anything with my life and stuff etc.
It seems as if it's much harder to sound good if you sing such high notes. I'm not saying that he's bad, I really like everything they've done. It just seems that alot of bands that have high pitched vocals have a hard time sounding really good live. Like this, Saosin, TDWP's clean singer, and so forth..
lol to everyone commenting on the crowd, chill. it's from 2008 and they werent as known as they are now. pretty sure they were opening act or somewhere around that gawsh. i saw them a few days back and i wish i'd appreciated the performance more too though lol
I was the same way when they came to my town with Jon Craig. He sang so beautifully at my local show (way better than this video) that I was in a trance. I would have sang along and danced if I knew the songs, but they're a BRAND new band that JUST got signed. They need to build the hype before the crowd moves.
This is when they first were getting big, and everyone was just like..."wait what note did he just hit?? woah...cool..what do I do? I guess just fiddle with my pants for a bit and listen"
