November 2021. On the grounds of a medieval Benedictine priory in Birkenhead, the oldest building on the Wirral. Wandered around in awe of the place until the rain got too heavy and I went to bed. Spirits wander this place in full view after dark.

Thanks for THE detail. I didn't know CL had taken the graves... The Church I thought had been bombed out during the Blitz, didn't realise twas down to demolition. First 1d ferry was rowed from there though, wasnt it ¿?

Excellent, as always, Billy. Well researched and thus a great deal more interesting than similar wild bivi vids. I'm surprised that, in our hometown, some scurrilous rat hasnt dug the Laird's up to see if they have any jewellery or valuables on them. At 10.20 it looked like somebody was stood on the wall watching you, and we had a glimpse of your shit torch at 11.45. All in all an outstanding night adventure, looking forward to seeing you do more of this type of stealthing. On a side note, I think we should be grateful to Andy for the times he used to actually pay us for doing stuff like this

Hi J, I know of a couple of tunnels on the Wirral, but not sure which ones you mean? I know of the Bidston tunnels and the old train ones through town, and the ones up near Holt Hill. I'd be interested to hear of any more! Thanks, Will

@@Jordy5121_ hi J, I know about the place in the vid, but I got told by someone who's been down there that it is some sort of run off tunnel for the old abandoned railway line? Funny you mention it though because I was considering having a go at getting to the fenced in manhole cover off Priory street in the vid. Is the entrance they show still open? I'd be up for exploring the tunnels for sure 👍

Can't argue with that Bob! The oldest standing building is the Chapter House, and it seems to be in an unnatural depression in the land which is a lot lower than the surrounding pathways. As far as I'm aware, the graveyard is Victorian and the main quarters at the front which would have been the pilgrim's hall with the monk's quarters above has been built and rebuilt over many centuries. I fully intend to make a follow up video one day because I had some hair-raising experiences during the filming of this vid. Thanks for the comment, Will
