Weather was nice enough for five packs on Sunday. This was the last one and the one that the Soloshot happened to get most of.
ExtremeFlight 60" Slick V2
Torque 4016T/500 MKII
Castle Talon 90
Pulse 6S 3700 45C
RJX FS0390 servos
DuBro Skis
Shot on Soloshot3 with Optic 65 in Extra Wide mode and then stabilized in Vegas which tightens it up a little. Need to play with settings a little more and find a better way to stabilize in post and I think I can get some decent video out of this thing.
Music is from my Bluetooth speaker, no need to tell me it's terrible, I already know!

Just ordered this man... I looked and looked and I believe this is one awesome plane for the 60" class... is this one in your opinion the best in the 60" class?

Josh Finley I think it may be my favorite right now. It’s quicker and more rewarding than the Extra, still a dream to 3D. You’ll love it and I think it will compliment that plane well

Great flying! Try manual focus on infinity, if your camera have such option.

Игорь Гусев thank you! Unfortunately the Soloshot 3 does not have any focus options. It’s very frustrating that the focus doesn’t work well since it knows exactly how far away the object is. Frankly it’s inexcusable. Recent firmware upgrades have made it better than it was but it’s still not great as you can see.

Hey Cody what are the settings for your talon esc? Motor timing bec output etc?

I think for the 4016T/500 I just left everything default but upped the BEC to 8V. For the zoomie motor in the Pantera I believe I went to high timing.

Cody Wojcik alright thanks for the fast reply man! I just maidened my 60" laser and i was wondering if you had a faster throttle response. I am running the torque motor cc talon 90 and savöx SV-1260MG servos. They are rated on 7.4v maximum and they pull 12kg on 7.4... my second question would be. I am flying it on 6v and it pulls 8kg on 6v. Would that be okay to not stress the servos too much and would 7.4v servos allow me to put 8v on them?

If they are rated for 7.4V that means they are designed for a 2S LiPo which is 8.4V fully charged. So they will definitely take 8V from the BEC. Go ahead and bump it up if you want a bit more speed and pull. I noticed excellent throttle response on my Talon on default settings.
