Alyn takes the long route to the top of Slieve Croob from Finnis. Following Dree hill and Drin Road, up the Pass Loaning to the fields and foothills of Croob, he crosses the mountain to the cairn and trig point. Along the trail he spots a range of native wildflowers and other signs of spring

Nice wee dander Alyn, loved all the flora and fauna, and I don't even think our Frank could predict what weather we get on top of the mountains :-) Great video, keep'em coming!

Thanks Gary. It is a great wee walk. And in my defence it started out as a lovely day!!!! I dont need Frank, I need a crystal ball. Cloudy mountain tops are too much of a feature on this channel.

Aw Thomas thatd be a great wee walk. It would be a challenge for wee legs but they wouldn't have to go the whole way around. The views over the dam and the High Mournes are great.

Alyn, book me on that weather course when you find it😊 Slieve Croob is a great wee hill with those cracking views (when available) and cool to explore further than just the road👍 Plenty of wildlife too👍

Its a belter Gerry. The view is different everyday (when there's no cloud). That route has been on my to do list for a while now and it did not disappoint. And yeah, the wildlife was fantastic, there's always something to see.
