Slip Float rig and gear for catching Big pre spawn channel Catfish on Strawberry KoolAid & Jello Chicken Breast Bait . Catch more Catfish. Bill and Mikes Angling Adventures a Roadsnake 90 production sport fishing Western New York
Great catfishing session here Bill - thanks for sharing! That snake at the beginning would have me paddling back to shore as fast as possible! Those big cats put up a great fight - nice job keeping them out of the logs once hooked. Tight lines! Captain Zac
Love the whoa whoa whoa.. 😂.. I also like the fact that you start showing your setup... Really do appreciate the explanations... Can't wait to get down to the Catt.
Slow day out there but ended up with 2 heavy hitters. Beautiful day to be out, work those legs. I think it’s time to upgrade to a kayak, Bill. So much better to manage the distances than a float tube. I’m curious if you could catch a cat on salmon skein, I can’t see why you wouldn’t. If you have some still, try it next time out for me and see if you can get one to bite, I’m curious. Great video once again, Bill. Happy Memorial Day to you and Mike.
Hey Bill...is that an Ugly Stick? I won one during a draw at the Mercury Booth at the Toronto Sportsman's Show back in 1977. For a 14 yr old, it was like winning the lottery, a massive upgrade, absolutely tough and almost unbreakable under normal use compared to the old Shakespeare rod I was using at the time. Ugly stick is an appropriate name for it...it has to be one of the ugliest rods in history, in 1977 and in 2024!!! It's perfect for massive catfish though...you did great in this video...beautiful channel cats!!!
Dude i never lip cats ever since i was a kid. I tried lipping a ten inch bullhead and jesus christ it was like jaws of life got me. Just on the very tip, didnt even get to the nail. The only place i know with big cats around me isnt fishable thanks to a water supply. I got a 12-14 pounder at the private lake ive got access to about ten years ago. Only one ive got from there before or since and ive been fishing it since 97 when my grandparents moved there
Not a question. Even a couple years ago it was nothin to catch 10-20 cats. Best I’ve done so far is 5 but the water has been very low the last couple years.
i don't know if numbers are down or more pressure on the creek - numbers are very good in the lake closer to Buffalo , more tournaments and lampricide treatments in the creek kill off some fish every few years
