Can you please explain what we see from this test? What is better, more engine RPM or less? If the car is remapped and more torque is transferred to the rear wheels, does this help in the last situation when only one rear wheel has a grip?

You can see how much torque is applied to the rear axle. The parameter which is responsible for that is clutch current value. If it gets 3 amps then we can say that clutch-pack is entirely locked. However - the lock-up compression is dependent on engine rpm and torque. That means that at lower rpm the clutch-pack can actually also be "locked" (or rather we should say that it will barely slip). In the last situation there is not enough brake intervention, that's not the issue of clutch-pack itself.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers I don't say that there is a problem with the clutch - pack. But here I see a bad distribution of the torque between the rear wheels. When the traction control is off the brakes does not count or I'm wrong? In lock mode up to 50% of the torque goes to the rear? This is around 200Nm, because the stock is 380Nm. Because the rear differential is open does this mean that all 200Nm are transferred only to the one rear wheel?

@@XAn4ETO Torque that goes to the rear axle is not the torque created by the engine. It's part of current engine torque, multiplied by gear ratios, transfer gearing etc. And engine cannot generate more torque than the grip allows. No grip means that only low torque can be generated. It can be increased if brakes intervene. When traction control is off then there is no brake intervention. Any torque that goes to the rear is divided equally to both sides, torque split of an open diff is always 50/50.

@@XAn4ETO Majority of new cars doesn't have an option to turn traction control off. Usually it is recommended to turn it off when wheelspin is desired.

It does very well on snow and other winter conditions but I wouldn't drive it offroad where a lot of diagonal obstacles may be a problem.

I have one, it is fine for some light off-road - but it doesn't have the ground clearance for anything big.

Not at all related to "platform issues" (whatever that nonsense means in your opinion). Citroën makes AWD vehicles since 1960's.
