I feel like the real reason these mash ups all work is because Corey Taylors' vocals are so stellar.

This sounds like Trent Reznor had a nervous breakdown, became a born-again Christian, and made a really sugary sunshine NIN pop song. And then Zakk Wylde stopped by.

He always seems to pick 2 things that just cannot go together - and then puts them together like it was always the truth!

I've always viewed Slipknot as being somewhat unintentionally absurd, and maybe I have failed to see the playfulness in their work. At last, this shows us who they could've been if they were an intentional absurdist ensemble, it seems like they could've been the funniest band on the planet and I would watch and listen to this every day of the week.

🤯🤯🤯 My brain hurts after watching this and I think I have a nose bleed. It’s like I’ve entered into an alternate dimension where Slipnot are chill laid back dudes that get down from time to time. Now you have to do Slipnot music with the B-52 vocalists.

I have lived in Des Moines Iowa for 10 years. I have worked with people who went to high school with the Slipknot lead singer and other members. I've also worked with another guy (Mike Johnston from the group Sirhan Sirhan) who worked with the lead singer (don't know Slipknots lead singers name) on some solo stuff some years back at his home. The point is that I've never once heard a single song of there's till I clicked on this video. I know this is NOTHING like what they normally do. But I will say this was done really fucking well. Loved it.
