Man, this energy hasn't been there since Joey. Eloy and Joey are pure power and blast, and they don't sound like a drum machine. That's what sets them apart from the rest.
Eloy is a beast, glad we have "sangre latina" in the band, can't wait to hear what they come up with!!!... But yeah, people need to stop all the hate on Jay, he also is a great drummer, 10 years in the band speaks for itself.
Going back and forth between Jays and this, Eloys, live versions of Duality I can say this new guy I absolutely killing it. Jay was great, but he was definitely cutting corners and playing a bit faster. Eloy is a fucking metronome out there. I bet even V-man appreciates playing the old stuff more now.
@@sebastianfischer2082 they're not dragging. But even if they were, then yes I would. When they rush songs Corey's vocals suffer massively cause he can't keep up.
@@devrajryatt at least Corey actually sounds into it when the songs are pushed forward or "rushed"... I'm getting the metronome out you guys are delusional. He's dragging, not them.
I love Tool’s rule of NO phones during a show so people’s views aren’t blocked by everyone’s light polluting screens. And at the same time I hypocritically say this watching a Slipknot concert.
When I first saw Slipknot 99, once you got past the initial shock what you were seeing it was Joey Jordison who got my immediate attention... he held eight other guys immerses in chaos in line.
@@RejectedRecords1998 it is clear that you have not actually played in any bands if your drummer sucks the whole thing falls apart. The singer can forget lyrics, be out of key and it really makes no difference but the minute the guy keeping time throws everyone off
I saw Eloy with Sepultura in Floripa and in person and much more powerful than the sound that appears in the videos, so imagine this show for those who were present, it seems like an avalanche coming, congratulations to Eloy and Slipknot, I believe it is a new phase , looking forward to seeing future compositions.
