Part of this interview was used in Slipknot's first video album "Welcome To Our Neighborhood". I fixed some sound quirks and color-graded whole interview. A source was way to bright and have loudness problems.
Goddamn. That first Slipknot album is the greatest metal debut of all time. Full stop. The band is still incredible to this day, but when that first album came out, there was nothing like it, and I would argue that even most contemporary metal bands can't hold a candle to what Slipknot achieved in 1999 with that first album.
Years ago my friend accidentally smacked another friend head. He was using wild hand gestures whilst holding a beer, and the other guy turned his head into a wild gesture. After saying sorry to the dude, he asked him to smack him back. The other guy said no, and my friend said hit me, no, as you can guess this went on for a minute. Finally I had enough of smacked my friend to shut him up. It was exactly like what Mick did to Clown at the beginning. All he said to the other guy was “Like that”.
I remember when i was a kid i would go to a comic book store named Metropolis Comics, and a guy named kurt that used to work there told me and my brother that he interviewed slipknot and clown wanted him to hit him... Never looked it up, but this video fell into my lap today and now i believe him 😂
@@donottalk4138315 Have you not seen the curent state of the band? It's a shell of it's former self, it aint about the masks and the music anymore, it's all about money and nothing else. I will always love slipknot but i will never apriciate the curent state that it's in, Joey was the last hope for this band and now he's gone. All hope is gone !
