@@sorin_ea6 I actually like the Orphan riff better - more filthy, but prefer the Iowa production - WAY more raw and heavy sounding. Guitars have that gainy punch that lacks in the modern production

Heretic anthem is slightly faster, pretty similar but the songs use different scales.

Somewhat since both are Drop A but the Heretic Anthem Intro is Open and First Fret Pow Pow Powa Chords (0-0-0-1) continuously while Orphan Intro interchanges that riff with a differing mixture, creating a (sic) new style of riffage (1-0-0-5), (0-0-0-1), (0-0-0-4), (0-0-0-1)...

this is gonna sound so cliché, but the best advice i can give is to just practice. faster finger movement is achieved by consistently working those finger muscles and building up the anatomy. you got this my dude :)

Joseph Espinoza they’ve had a few tracks in drop A already. They don’t need a 7string to tune like this, they’ve used a regular 6string. Mick has said, he hated 7strings. It’s funny cause his number in band - 7)) Nik uses 7 for this, cause there’s no point to detune his 6string, I think.

Madjentah B standard is the normal tuning for a seven string. Drop A is nothing that a baritone scale 6-string couldn’t handle. Do your research.

If the (0-0-0-1) riff was continuous then yes. Mick and/or Jim obviously created Orphan's intro as an HOMAGE to the Heretic Anthem by including the (0-0-0-1) in the riffage. So yes...it's Heretic Anthem Pt.2 in a way.
