I am suprised that one of the most heaviest, hardest band sang this song on live television. Don't get me wrong, this song is a very emotional song on the All hope is gone album, it shows how much talent and love for the music they have. Stay sic my friends!!! ROCK ON!!!
Whatever happens, happens. If you're a maggot or at least know Corey a little bit, you should know that they miss Paul greatly and regret having to throw Joey out of the band. So I don't think they're only half of what they used to be. I still think they're Slipknot. Maybe a more mature version of the early days, but still Slipknot.
I agree. I still love Slipknot but i cannot appreciate their latest album as much because Joey isn't on it and didn't write the drum parts. I miss Paul, but i miss Joey more. I met mt girlfriend who i've been with for 15 years and have 2 children with because of Joey. He was in a band called The Rejects - which later became the Murderdolls. Only a handful of people knew about them 15 years ago. I was a *huge* Joey Jordison fan because i played the drums and thought he was the best drummer in the world hands down! MY GF also liked him and followed him. i think their forum had something like just 100 members, but i met my GF on that forum so i am forever thankful to Joey for that, and i'll always have a soft spot for him because of that. But i wish he was still in Slipknot! (For what it's worth, he wasn't fired because of his medical condition. I know that's the official line, but it isn't true). It was because of something else. And no, i'm not saying what it was.

Here's proof that slipknot are very talented. for a dynamic group, make a song as calm and beautiful is just respectable. And as what Corey does not just scream, he also has a voice of an angel. In one word : Wonderful.

for people that don't know this song was about Corey's first divorce I'm pretty sure. even though during QNA sessions or similar it is dedicated to gray because it was his favorite song on the album
I don't know anymore... A band that has a bit if disturbing looks plays really heavy songs like (sic) gets introduced by a man dressed as a yellow chicken and then plays a sad song like this
Aww Paul Gray rocking it out hope he is happy jamming somewhere RIP feel sorry for Slipknot the band is rocking and on point on this and audience is so quiet I was going crazy to this when saw them at download 2009 Slipknot are absolutely amazing live.
StirbMensch he's just thinking that the cymbals he is using are too harsh for a sad song. I think he doesn't get it's supposed to be a big transition with a sort of a boom effect. I kinda disagree using the China cymbal wich is the one he is hitting on the right. but you know I'm not a drummer that used to be in the most popular metal band of our generation.
I swear this song is the one thing that helped me process the breakup with my ex,before we even broke up.. n now, over 2years later, it still helps me know that I made the right decision
This song is actually so moving, most people would have a sob story related to the song, which is totally understandable. However I think the song itself speaks for anything and everything and should just be left at that.
ninguem ta falando que foi homenagem a ele. Aprende a falar inglês antes de sair por ai falando merda. Depois da morte do Paul, em todos os shows solo de violão e voz o Corey dedica Snuff a ele. Ninguem ta falando que a musica foi em homenagem ao Paul, só tao falando que sentem falta dele.

Love going back n watching these older Slipknot performances...after hearing Corey do them himself accoustically. Which are powerful tuff to hear! But as great as they are, I miss the accompaniment of the bands music, which is now, to me, clearly as beautiful...and i have a whole new appreciation for them musically! RIP...OF COURSE PAUL, AND NOW JOEY!😔

Jim's riff of this version is better than in the original song. When I want to listen to Snuff I always play this version. Very touching stuff, lyrically and musically.
This show happened on October 30st, 2009. The day after, on Halloween, Slipknot had a gig in Las Vegas, NV and that was Paul D. Gray's VERY LAST SLIPKNOT SHOW EVER... MEANING THIS VERY PERFORMANCE WAS HIS VERY LAST LIVE TV PERFORMANCE..!
