Adrenaline is an amazing thing must be really pumped onstage with the audience going crazy. Afterwards when things settle down it probably hurt like a bitch. A lot of guys would have just quit though few guys will soldier on for the rest of the show.

Can we talk about how Sid was headbanging at the end like nothing was wrong? This man has some serious dedication. I wouldn't even get back on stage if I was in his situation. But the show must go on I guess
ok, so Sid Wilson breaks not one, but both of his heels, and still goes back to finish the show, with that epic AF headbang at 10:05, but when Justin Bieber gets a water bottle thrown at him, he has to run off crying like the little girl he is. WAY TO GO SLIPKNOT!

Adam Holt James was standing right on top of a pyrotechnic during fade to black and it went off, it burned half of his body and the show had to be postponed

5:40 Corey is looking for Sid to cue the intro to The Heretic Anthem. When he doesn’t, that’s when Corey realizes somethings wrong. That’s why the song didn’t start with its usual intro.
Sid was supposed to cue in the song and was in so much pain he couldnt see the records to start the song off. Then Joey signals the lights by hitting the kick drums so Sid can see and then they end up starting the song up without his part.
that shows the dedication that this band puts in the every Show Sid jump and landed on just straight stage not like jumping in the crowd like you normally does he jumped off of like 10 foot drop onto the stage so could have been metal it could have been wood excetera and he shattered his heels he makes it over to his booth and finishes the show that's dedication and love to your art
as a member of the marching band (color guard) I have to say it was EXTREMELY satisfying to see that perfect catch at 2:23 , and the perfectly synced up headbanging at 10:05
@@LightYagamiVSL color guard has to do lots of work involving flag twirling, sabre tossing, riffle spins, etc, and usually have to catch their toss on beat with the music (some tosses being extremely high in the air, and rapidly spinning too)
I was at this show, it was unreal. Hands down best show I've ever seen. Seeing them play prosthetics was the highlight I think. But it's kind of weird seeing the show from this angle, totally different experience.

I'll never forget this, I helped Sid when Mayhem Fest came to Kansas City. I passed out flyer's for his DJ Starscream show that afternoon. He ended up with a lot of things he had to take care of and barely made it for Slipknot's set that evening. Everyone was like WTF? What about the show that was supposed to be earlier today?! I explained everything in the fanclub's website. I got to visit him afterwards and he was in a wheelchair, poor guy💜
Sit is a serious trooper. Both feet broken and he limps back on stage to finish the set. That is a truly professional musician that will do anything for the fans.
I've broken ribs in the past and had to simply strap them and I literally felt every second of that injury for weeks. These guys just loved getting involved and you never knew who was landing on you next. Brilliant band. Have to say RIP to Paul as well. Corey can work magic on acoustics or simply thrash metal. Its a talent thats haunted by tragedy though.
Same I broke 3 ribs doing a stunt for an acting role (being thrown down a flight of stairs for a student film and someone forgot the crash mat I was ment to land on off camera so I had a hard landing on a wooden floor broke 3 ribs on the 3rd take carried on requesting another 17 takes cause I wasn't satisfied with how it looked despite the pain stayed in character and kept going was finally satisfied with that scene on the 20th take overall (even with doing that same stunt 17 times with broken ribs against the directors advice I told him I'm not going to slow him down working on the project and carry the fuck on straight to his face still to this day one of the best directors I ever worked with and a good friend)
As some one whos had a unfortunate fall at work and broke both my heels, know he was in severe pain, and has balls of steel to finish the show. You never realize how important your heels are until they're broke.
Yeah, i've watched a recent interview of Corey and he said, there where times that they're sick or have fever but the show must go on since their fans paid to see them. Dedication.
Sid missed his cue at the beggining of heretic..Joey just hits his base drum,then ii guess fugured he couldnt wait any longer..I had a fried crawl up a city light and break his feet and it hurts so fuckin im very surprised he finished off the show..What a trooper.That shit hurt so much they gave him basically heroin to calm his oain pain down..Its take about9 mos to feel better.
I'm quite jealous of you! I'm only 15, listened to Slipknot for 4 years, started listening to all their songs this year, and I'm dying to go to a Slipknot Concert when they're in Cincinnati again.

Thats a trooper there...these shows go on no matter what...and he just handles it...much respect to him!!..I played a 4 hour gig drumming with the Flu puking into a bucket..I know how hard it is to keep going when you are in severe pain...its no fun.
