Some people hate him because they blame him for ruining modern music, even though he's not the first. Some people hate him just because he's rich. Others hate him because he's sheltered and occasionally makes thoughtless comments, such as saying he's this generation's misunderstood Kurt Cobain, or that he hopes that Anne Frank would have been a "Belieber" (she would have been a Juggalo, if anything).
