Wait n bleed was one of the songs jay had a bad habit rushing. The 1st show with eloy it was obvious he was playing to a click or being very time conscious..it kinda seems like the guys told eloy he can loosen up with the timing at this show tho..he was still holding down time more consistently then jay but also u can tell the large venue maybe raised his energy and loosened up on timing... I think it's likely that eloy wanted to show the guys how he can keep perfect time in his 1st ever show playing live with them, and then after the show the guys let him know that while keeping perfect time is great, he is allowed speed up n slow down accordingly depending on bsnd/crowd energy, because in this performance eloy played faster in songs like disasterpiece and eyelets, and kept perfect time for songs like wait n bleed and Custer. I Imagine eloy is still very much in a "trying to prove himself" phase with the band/trying to find the perfect band chemistry so we will hear alot of differing performances from eloy especially during this 1st leg of the tour!! I'm sure he will try different things, expirement with different tempo ect to show the guys he is able to do whatever they need from him, and the best way to do that is demonstrate it during rehearsals and then live playing off the crowd energy. Then at the end of the show either Jim, corey, mick ect can let eloy know "we really like this, and it's really awesome when u did those fills, but we can do with less of ect ect".. and according to that feedback we as a audience will hear the change in real time...so again I'm gonna venture a guess n say after that 1st "tester" show in front of a smaller crowd eloy demonstrated perfect time keeping and the guys told him he can loosen up on it and flow with the crowd and band energy, which is why we see a looser eloy in this show in terms of keeping perfect time and slower tempo and him speeding up in higher energy songs like disasterpiece and slowing down in mellower songs like wait n bleed.
Finally, eloy brought them back to the actual tempo of the song. Joey had too much coke in him to play it at the right tempo always speeding the hell through it.
ELOY BRINGING THE FAST PACE!! You can tell Corey is out of breath, he has not sang that fast since Joey and that’s saying something, WELCOME ELOY #Maggot 🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥
@@ferctk but the original comment made out they’re playing faster with Eloy , saying Corey was out of breath as he’s not used to this tempo 😂🤷♂️ when in reality they’re playing the same tempo if not maybe a little slower than when Jay was in the band , so the original comment made zero sense
