Yeah it took me a long time to realize their were shortcuts for non-slugcats critters, I'm guessing that's allows some less agile critters to move around the map?
I think that it'll be very nice to see a "remake" of slugpup games, because we have got another good mod that signficiantly improves pup's AI. Now the pups are much better, so they can survive in more aggressive enviroment.

the blue lizard had to drop the scavenger because it was too far away from its mouth, and somehow the scavenger ended up in the floor. he then glitched back out of the floor and escaped through the shortcut to the other island
