I can't believe some of these stages were ever legal! Also if you don't mind me asking, what are you using that is making the characters look so bright?

Early 2000s Melee was a wild time! The main texture pack is Animelee www.animelee.xyz/ and then I also use an "energy overhaul" pack that makes the fire, ice, and shock effects look more aligned with the Animelee style ssbmtextures.com/other-mod-types/assets-non-character-specific/animelee-energy-texture-overhaul/ I swap the Dolphin/Slippi/Faster Melee aspect ratio to 16:9 widescreen and voilà! There's my visual build.

I didn't know this was a thing and was unpleasantly surprised on the 1st. After two matches on Corneria, I just stopped playing for the day.

Now that Slippi does free Ranked days regularly, it should definitely be a free Ranked day moving forward so that people who don't want to play on the banned stages can still have an option to play regular stages via Ranked.
