Series of scenes as a supplemental to ESarchieves work. First is a wonderful series of scenes that completely depict a loving, adult, friendship when Bev proposes but Sloan turns her down gently and she gets mad for him not turning to Viki when he needs her. Then Viki finds out and comes to get him and she and Bev again have a wonderful adult conversation in which Viki thanks her for being there for Sloan and tells her that she knows Bev loves him. Bev in turn asks Viki to take care of him and tells her she was never a threat to Viki. Then Sloan asks Andrew to let go (sniff) and finally Andrew reflects on how proud he was of his dad. I love Maeve McGuire's work as Bev. She came on and in a couple of scenes established who this character was and what her relationship with Sloan was. The proposal scene was exquisite.

The great Maeve McGuire as Beverly Crane-one of the finest actresses ever to grace daytime television. She is remembered best as Nicole Travis on the Edge of Night.

Some of EON's best and most memorable performers also appeared on OLTL. In addition to Maeve McGuire (Nicole), Ann Flood (Nancy) and Forrest Compton (MIke) also appeared in recurring roles. Lois Kibbee (Geraldine), Sharon Gabet (Raven), and Mark Arnold (Gavin) also had regular roles in the late '80s.
