You gotta have fun friends to have fun with Sea of Thieves. There a LOT to do in this game, and you need to set goals so you have motivation to keep playing.
It's the instant swap the issue not the double gunning itself, I never cared to learn it because I don't tend to use anything besides Snipe and Swords, sometimes Pistol but still, don't run two weapons. It obviously wasn't meant to be in the game if they're removing it, crazy how easily people get butt hurt over something so small such as this. "Oh no it Will take me a second longer to kill people this is literally unplayable" (Edit: removed a word I didn't mean to write)
Had the same exact problem. I said to myself let me put on a sword and I can do some damage. The whole gally running sword blunder was no match for me after I had my sword out.
Well tbf they didn’t go out and attack him, whether they got that from other pirates or not idk but I’d be kinda mad too if I did that through the missions and quests
