@@ronaldmcdonald4103 no we don't. We sail up to every random ship we see, and we ask to be in an alliance. Sometimes it works sometimes not.

Discord alliance servers are well organised groups that server hop till they get a couple boats in the same server then convince everyone els to hand over their boat.

It’s an alliance server, so the majority of the players are completely lost on the first thing about PvP, even a full 12v3 of alliance players probably couldn’t kill your average Hourglass sweat team.

Its faster to setup another server than sail across the map, plus most alliance servers dont wanna give content to creators

Tbh I’ve been in one and our server did actually go for them and even then you realise why majority are in the server cus they still get slaughtered unless pvpers are on and ready to join them they leave and reset for ease the whole thing with server alliance is people who generally can’t pvp or haven’t got the time to get sunk at the end of the session n loose all the loot it’s sort of a safe place until these guys get in 😂😂 😂😂

Strikes me as the kind of person who gets no joy from the game anymore itself and just got stuck making content for "that one pirate game" gaming RU-vid 101 make variety content before you get big.

Running 2 guns is not double gunning, double gunning was an exploit than rare addressed and is no longer in the game

They cant even deal with hackers teleporting across the map with kegs, i doubt they will ever do anything about alliance servers

@@skoomd4447 Two very different things. Rare has a business purpose to shut these servers down. Some make money from these discord servers for in game rewards which is illegal on several degrees. It’s also easier to shut a server down when you find it’s an organized alliance server than just shut one down cause it has a cheater.

@@kingdave7996 id rather them focus on things that effect the whole player base rather than alliance servers which effects nobody but ppl that have a life and no time to "get good" at the game, and btw its not illegal to charge money for a supporter role in a discord server for a faster que time

@@skoomd4447 They’re paying money for people to receive in game rewards in a system Rare has specifically said they do not support. It’s not illegal for faster queue time, but that directly affects in game so essentially paying for easier gold. Even if you can say there is a loophole that they aren’t making money off selling in game items it’s still morally wrong and basically is paying for PvE servers when they aren’t invaded. As for your comment on saying these people have lives which means they can’t get good I’ll brush pass the assumption that you sub to the idea anyone good at the game has no life when I’m really good at the game with a whole lot of life going unless you really want to try to make that claim. Do the people that have 3k plus hours have a life? Probably not beyond working. Does everyone good at the game not have a life? Absolutely not.
