Im not new to your channel, I’ve been watching for over a decade. But, I just wanted to send you good vibes and hugs and hope that you get all the surgeries and healing that you need 🥰🥰🥰 You taught me how to cook and I can’t thank you enough.
This is the sweetest comment of all. I had not realized that my pep had gone from my voice. I had been hurting for so long with no apparent answers I had gone into a bit of a depression. My motivation had slipped and thus my desire to make videos waned. I am getting back on that horse though. I can't let this control my life. Even if I have to speak through a stuffy head, and take breaks during my filming I have to just soldier through until this season is over. I don't want it to be this way and I am so happy that you heard my happiness in today's video! Thanks for pointing it out! It means a lot.
@@noreenskitchenchannel Don't know if you also have phlegm/mucous. But if you do, brew some thyme tea. It helps to flush out phlegm. About a heaping teaspoon per 8oz water.
I'm so happy to see a new video! You sound so much more like "your old self" - I mean that as a positive, and truly hope that's how it comes across. I have absolutely enjoyed following you and your family via RU-vid over the years 💜 Much love to you all
I’ve literally been subscribed since university to learn how to cook…. I’m 31 now. 😂😂😂 Ive even told people that I learned how to cook from you. Genuinely you’ve taught me how to cook and I always watch your videos.
I forget that I have a slow cooker. I don't use it enough! I love sweet and sour chicken (and pork). I'm saving this recipe. Plus, using a slow cooker is so easy and makes the home smell so good! Looking forward to more slow cooker recipes.
Noreen! You did it AGAIN!!!!! Another GREAT meal, but LOVE that it is in the Crockpot! I have never made Sweet and Sour Chicken before.... may have to try this!
I’m so glad you did this!!! To your subscribers, we have our old Noreen back! I do understand that your health is probably not better but you did this for us Thank you ! I’ll add you to my prayers daily. You help us so much thanks again! We love you.
I can always count on your recipes, Noreen - they're consistently deliciou! You are in my prayers often, as the Lord brings you to my heart. God bless you.
Noreen, you have been in my Prayers. I Pray that you can soon have the surgery and it will be a success. I miss you making videos, I have always loved all you videos.. I was just thinking how much our lives have changed over the past few years, some things good and some not so good, but God is in control and will be with us. PRAYERS
Noreen, I’ve seen other collabs, but WOW I am amazed by how many channels that are part of this!! I watched one of your videos about a month or so ago & learned about your health problems. I’m so happy to see you here again. I have to say, I can certainly relate to your health issues as I have a number of them myself, so my hubby does most of the cooking too. Like you, there are days I get really frustrated too. Before I got to this point, just like you, I loved being in the kitchen. It’s a labor of love to make delicious meals (& treats) for your family, friends & loved ones. I’m so glad to see you here & part of this collab. Your recipe looks so good, and we will see this on our table very soon.
Tis a season. I keep telling myself that. A season to learn what God is trying to teach me and I have found that is to learn to ask for help without trying to control the situation. Also to learn to rest. To take time to recover. Time to be without the business of all that is around us. I am a self professed control freak, I like to do it all. So God Made it so I could not and he made it so I needed help. So now Rick and I do things together. It's different, but its good. I have learned to appreciate the quiet and I have learned how to just bask in his spirit and know that what is good is coming. I may not always be happy and I may not always like what is going on in my day and I may voice that, but honestly I am still plugging along but I can see this season wrapping up. I would say by the middle of 2024 or even soon, this season will be moving into a new season and I cannot wait to see what that holds for me and my family. I will pray for you Lynn and I hope that your season is short and spiritually bountiful and I hope that it will be physically healing and I hope your next season will be more incredible than you can imagine because HE has amazing things in store for you! God Bless!
I love fixing meals in my crockpot. I have seen a lot of wonderful recipes on this years Crocktober. This one will definitely get added to my favorite ones. Thanks for sharing.
Noreen this looks great! I can't wait to try it once I'm out of this stupid cast! A big jacked up pick up truck decided to cut me off a few weeks back. Had foot surgery and currently on the mend! Your videos have brought me so much joy and comfort for so many years. It's like sitting in the kitchen with my great Aunt or my Nana. Praying for your health and happiness always. Big hugs from up here in Pennsylvania ❤
This looks delicious and so easy! Prayers for your sinus issues and for your future hip surgery. I had my right hip replaced when I was 15 years old and again at 24. I'm now almost 47 and it is doing great. 🙏🏻
First time veiwer here from Northeast Ohio. Prayers 🙏🙏We love sweet n sour chicken. Its nice to have a recipe to make at home. Thank you! God Bless you. ❤
I love sweet and sour chicken, but I always make it in a wok. This sounds awesome to me, especially I should copy the coconut rice too! I am excited to try this! Thanks for participating in Crocktober! 🎉 🎉 🎉
Sometimes the slow cooker is the way to go! I make sweet and sour shrimp on top of the stove because shrimp cooks so fast but this is perfect for the slow cooker! This can also be made with pork tenderloin chunks and it's low fat to boot because no frying! Hope you give it a try!
We love sweet and sour chicken. Never thought to make it in a crockpot. How convenient and easy. Can't wait to try this. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Thank-you, for sharing this with us, Noreen. I’ll be writing this down and adding it to my “Noreen’s Kitchen” file in my recipe collection. We also would be empty nesters except we are helping raise a couple of grandchildren, so all the help you’ve given us over the years is greatly appreciated. Praying for your healing for you. ❤
This dish sounds so yummy! And the idea of extras for a freezer meal is an added plus--it's just me and my husband too. And there is nothing wrong with convenience rice: I use convenience foods myself, especially on those days I meet myself coming and going. Thanks for sharing.
Recipe looks great Noreen. I'm glad your moving along with your health plans. Best of luck with your surgery. Minute Rice also makes cups of rice (different kinds) that come 2 in a package. Takes one and a half minutes for to cups in the microwave, they are good too if you see them. We are empty nesters also. Hope you feel better soon. Stay well and safe.
I need to find my crock pot!!! This looks amazing. Thank you, Noreen. I was so happy to see a new video from you on my feed today❤And I went ahead and subscribed to many of the folks on that wonderful CrockTober Collab. I may even have to purchase a new crock pot!
That looks amazing, I have never heard of sweet and sour Chicken this will be a must-try. Thanks for the Video I have been following you Noreen for years. Love ya and keep up the great videos.
this looks great. Such a good idea for leftovers!! Sorry you are not feeling well. i always love your content. you were one of the first u tube channels i subscribed too.
interesting, yet pretty awesome looking recipe. I will definitely need to try this one. I love the thickness of the gravy and I agree will be awesome over rice, or even egg noodles.
That looks amazing. Watching you from Texas. Been watching you for since I found your channel several years ago. I’ve not been able to watch it of videos for awhile. I’ve been a caregiver for my dad and still trying to pull a few days of work. Hope you feel better soon. 😊
I’ve never made sweet and sour chicken in a slow cooker. Never made it very much all. I like to make a large meal and freeze portions… for dtr…son… hubby.., snd for trips.! This looks good! Thanks I’m going to try this!
