Slow Living Garden: Planting Summer Vegetables and Salads 

In this slow living video, I’m preparing my vegetable garden and then planting out my summer vegetables and salads, hopefully for a bountiful harvest.
I’m a bit late preparing my vegetable beds for growing, but I’m removing the overgrown weeds and adding garden compost, getting ready for the salad and vegetable plants to go in. My plot has become overgrown because of ill health, but I’m feeling well enough now to get on with things and try to catch up.
Fox cubs have been in the paddock, but unfortunately, I only managed to get a small glimpse of them on camera before they ran away.
I’ve filmed some Swollen-thighed beetles (Oedemera nobilis) - also known as the thick-legged flower beetle - feeding on pollen around the garden. They have distinctive bulbous legs and are a metallic green color.
