A quick video of Chris’s Sutton Locomotive Works class 24 fitted with DCC sound arriving at and shunting the coal yard on Oly’s home based shelf layout, which has recently had a few changes made.
The train draws up clear of the point work and having been given permission to enter the yard draws forward, before propelling back to run round and drop off the wagons, before shunting the brake van into the platform out the way.
The loco is the SLW class 24 D5021 in chromatic blue with small yellow ends, representing the loco in the mid-late 1960’s. It has had full yellow ends added, D numbers removed and weathering to match a photo of the same loco taken in the early 1970’s.
