Game is so dumb when the #1 Damage Class is miles ahead from the second damage class. Like if you reduce GX damage by half the second contender couldn't compete still. Renewal as a whole is total shit balance wise.
they would have to be reduced by at least 8x, not half. The problem why GX has never left top class from early renewal to even today has always been the same skill: EDP. This skill (as a second class skill) multiplies weapon damage by 4x and equip atk by 4x and is seriously bonkers. There's no such thing as any other card/effect that clashes with it so no matter how many stuff you stack, it eventually first 4x from ur weap atk gains and then 4x from ur eq atk gain. No class can compete. Once you play SX and tried not using EDP you will realise they are still competitive but maybe 1.5x stronger than the next best melee option only. It's hard to believe gravity doesn't notice this when it's been so many years but accept that they wanted it that way. So yeah, if you're seriously into farming in any version of renewal you'd have GX/SX; only so you can feed your personal pet projects (other classes) that's just "for fun".
