Loved the location and land! Home is nice but could use just a little updating inside. This Californian has been eye-balling Kentucky for a number of years to retire to (by the way, I didn't take offense to your off-the-cuff California comment cuz I get it) and would love, love, love, something like this. When I first started to watch your videos years ago, Danville area property prices (for what I want) were much more affordable for me, but now not so much. But I still have hope for when I'm ready in a couple, three years that I can make it happen.

@robert45tn - hahah - whoever told you that? Danville/Boyle Co is actually smack-dab in the center of the state - at the southern part of the Bluegrass Region. Eastern Kentucky is usually designated as East of I-75.

@JoannaMuse - it has an Agricultural Exemption Certificate - meaning the house on an acre is the bulk of the taxes, the additional land is way less. I will find out the taxes now - and get back to you.
