In this video, I made of couple of outings to the Des Plaines River, specifically targeting smallmouth bass. However, I ended up getting into some pike and largemouth on the first outing and the smallmouths on the second. I used a variety of lures as I kept getting snagged and broken off. While that was quite frustrating, I was very pleased in the end to have caught numerous game fish while wading the river.
