You just have to laugh because i worked in a dementia unit and imagine having to take care of 7-10 ladies and guys like this for 12 hrs a day...whew! 😢😂

Why do you love that? Dementia doesn't change a person's personality, it doesn't take a kindly, loving Gramma and turn them into this. I've lived through it. This is just a mean old woman who's own daughter wouldn't be around her because it was too triggering, from all the childhood abuse she'd endured. So I'm not sure why you think it's so entertaining to witness this shriveled shrew of a human being tell one of the few relatives that were willing to tolerate her presence, "I don't like you." I wonder what that says about YOU.
"Hell no!" She makes me cry laugh from the bottom of my belly 🤣 the mean streaks mixed with the cute way her voice shakes when she calls out for Larry or Sarah along with her sweetheart moments & right on time comic relief is wonderful for the soul! I will continue to shower you with praise & say I love the way you love on her & she on you. I miss my Great granny 👵🏾❤️

Your grandparents definitely raised you and your brother right. It is truly an honor to see grandchildren taking of one but two of their grandparents. You have no idea the blessing that comes with that love and loyalty. Keep it the good work and my prayers will be with you. God bless you all.
@ ya she and also verbally abusive to her daughter Helena (Tasha’s mother) and think about it how does a grandmother not like her own grand daughter like before the dementia and all…. that’s extremely odd… most Grandmas love they grand kids even more then they own kids… so many grandmothers take in their grand children in the black community too. i can’t imagine as a mother of 4 my mom LOVES all 9 of her grandchildren
She definitely makes my day when I watch her. She is such a joy an innocent In what she says cause of the Dementia. Bless her granddaughter for caring for her grandma and not leaving her n some damn nursing home.❤
My Bebe had Alzheimer’s and it was crushing because she was scared most of the time. Would cry 😢 and beg us to stay with her all the time. She was such a FORCE my whole life so seeing her cry and be scared killed me. I wish it would have been a different experience for my Bebe. I love this feisty lady. I know it’s probably difficult to deal with her but, she really doesn’t mean anything she is saying. You are fortunate to be able to spend time with her. Cherish every moment, you have with her. Your memories with her are priceless.
I can watch grandma all day! She is such a hoot!!!😂 But as a longtime caregiver of an Alzheimers grest Aunt, I know the heartaches and struggles! It is so hard to deal with the absolute messes in the bathroom, bedroom, walking the house all night, bathing, changing diapers, feeding, massive loads of laundry and so much more!!!😢 God bless you sweet girl! She is so cute, I know they get that way at a certain senior age. My dad is about to b 85 y/o & he still writes his lottery #'s to play for each day & wants stratchs off tkts almost every day, too. But he is still over protected of his adult children & can b very demanding at times. I take care of him every day, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a wk. At times, it can get overwhelming bc I'm the only one doing everything for him, luckily he still bathes himself, dresses & eats on his own. Thanking our LORD for that. But blessed to do it for him bc that's my dad & I love him so. And who, if not a close family member who can take care of them better than a nursing home facility. I know ur beautiful grandma Helen has passed a yr ago. She is now resting n the arms of our LORD until u meet w/her again. GBU for giving her the care she needed & the love u had for her. 🙏🩷

You will be blessed for taking care of your grand parents and doing for your mom, I have done the same thing for mine and I help my mom also and don't mind doing it because I know I am blessed for the way I am.

I was caregiver to a 92 yr old an she was meanest to me also..I got in 6 yrs that I was still young an pretty an it made her hate me...jealousy is real at there old ages.. dementia or not...caregivers are the most hated relative or not...love that u still living her tgrough..I did same she rubbed my face at the end an said u know iv always loved u most right...an that made up for all my tears of hurt words thrown my way😢❤
