Put more power into the class and less into tier sets. Tier sets should be gameplay altering (i understand 1st tier needs to be boring to let hero talents breathe) But yeah, if its not gameplay altering, then it should be weak. That way you dont get turbo boned by not having 4pc.
My hot take is that I always want a weak tier set bonus because I'd rather have my class tuned in context of a weak bonus than a strong one. Tuning around a strong tier set just feels troll until you get your 4-piece
@nathanbiggs96 that's my least favorite things with tier in the last 2 expacs. Fun in the moment, but losing class fluidity from good specs that don't get baked in else where is sooooooooo turbo ass
Pretty sure this is a buff to enhancement at least for elementalist build. Those spells are less than ten percent of your damage. Nerf them 8% that equates to a .8% nerf and then a 2% buff. This should be around a 1.2% increase.
war wtihin stormstrike elemantalist enhance shaman spec is very hard to master to get close to sim #'s. When enhance is played perfectly, sure, but its hard to consistantly make the right choice when building and spending and procs create its own tree branch of new rotation priority. enhance is less squishy with stonebulk work totem, but still can be squishy if not pre popping defensives...Even if it is near top dps on single target, it is not a spec most can pick up part way through a season and can perform to sim #'s. I hope blizz considers this during tuning, the apm and unqiue keybind amount should have some payoff imo.
@@Kmaitland89 we compare to them mostly to see what's possible and what's a damage increase when you play something correctly. trinkets, stats, tier sets, talents, Hero talents. they all need some possible way to compare what is worse so we create the Action Priority LIst APL for short so players know what buttons they need to press. that gets put into the Simulations so we can get a rough Idea of how well talents do without putting User Error into the Equation but alot of the times User Error is a heavy nerf to the amount of damage a class can do. but I'm fine knowing that something is a upgrade or if an item is only a bit worse but Feels easier and funner to use I can know it's close enough that I'll perform better using this. Sims are a tool not something to aspire to.
Yup, sims, especially sim comparisons are always a mixed bag precisely because people forget the difficulty for a human and for a computer are very different. The more reactionary you need to be, the harder it is to get to optimal vs specs that need lots of planning but have little variance. Elementalist Stormbringer has both a need of careful planning of skills and also an ability to react to four or more procs that upend that planning.
I think there's a nice balance that needs to be done with Class power and tier power. It does stink to have a lot of your power in the Tier when you don't have 4-piece but if the tier is too weak/underwhelming then it makes getting 4-piece not feel nearly as good as it should. Right now the Unholy Tier Set looks like the rawest definition of 'Meh whatever' and that's a real shame
For blood we have bone shield spending abilities so I don't think this is an overall nerf, or not a significant one. Staying at 11/12 probably does not have that high of an uptime
It's shifting the power away from the tier set and making the classes less relient on getting 4 set before having a chance at competing vs other classes.
But arcane mages got a massive nerf last reset. What are you talking about? The double dipping is gone, they nerfed some dmg. The double dipping was such a big part of their stupid dmg
@@Pat1711 They are still at the top and quite far ahead of the average but only barely ahead of the number 2 (which rn is outlaw rogue) the average damage across all dps specs for a 5 minute sim is about 1.42m~ , arcane is at 1.58m~ outlaw at 1.56m~ and at the other end you have balance at 1.26m~ and destro at 1.31m~. these are sims for having 4pc and perfect gear at the end of this tier.
Awful balancing. Where's the compensation for the paying customers. Why are we paying for bad service? Hold blizzard accountable, speak up, and demand better. Wow community has been too complacent accepting this awful service. Free games don't treat players this badly.
Bruh this is so dumbbb. We are playing and paying for an unfinished gamee. We are still in beta and never making it out… zzzzz. It would make sense if this game was FREE TO PLAY. But we frickin pay for this, unacceptable.
