2:43 It´s so funny, if thats the goal, then why have a early access at all. It is a dirty buisness model that made them reach a whole new low. Subscribtion fee and 40€ isnt enough to get to play the game when everyone else gets it? na lets dish out 90€ for that.
I'd say it's a good thing for the majority of players to have Heroic week with only M0 and then M+ open for Mythic week, there's plenty to do that week already and I believe they should also absolutely take into account people playing alts too, not to the point of dragging it too much for that but an extra week to get ready is nice.. It's only maybe slightly "bad" for those who have been on Beta doing M+ and alredy know all the dungeons so might want to jump straight into M+ but I mean it's a week, even then I think many people will still prefer it because of the alt thing (I find myself on this group and yeah I prefer the extra time to bring my alts along).
as someone who prefer's M+ and only run's M+ over raiding, this is the dumbest change blizzard has made yet. I will have nothing to do other than leveling my 4 toons for the warband, heroic dungeons for gearing and m 0 for gearing for a whole month...... wtf is wrong with blizzard.
Disagree on the M+ timing, I think waiting until Mythic is the correct way to go. It solidifies M0 being the pre raid gearing path as it should be. Only the most degenerate will feel waiting a week for M+ to open. And it’s better than calling M+ gear arbitrarily.
I hate the m+ thing. Feels like an instance where the common case suffers to prevent degenerate minmax behavior at the very top. Idc that much about gear, cap gear if thats your concern. I want to actually play the game. I dont get how preventing me from doing the content i enjoy for another week is supposed to improve my experience.
I am kinda digging the long gap before M+. This is likely to be the only way I get to keep up with more than one character in the first patch. Willing to leave that open to finding out I hate it but with the amount of focus on warbands going forward I have a feeling I'm going to like this a lot!
I have the epic edition and even gifted 2 of them to my guild, but it will only be good for crafters who are trying to get a jump on the market, I think.
As a CE raider who has quite bad anxiety, this spread of content being released gives me so much relief. It's so stressful when all the content drops at once and you have to play the game for ungodly hours for the first few weeks.
Honestly it makes sense since the "new" Heroic is essentially what M0 used to be. We have to remember that current M0 is what used to be a +10. It just means we have a little bit of time "stuck" on +10 keys. My big issue at this point is the weekly lockout. I always find it very obnoxious in raids but in M0 with how the new m+ system works I think it really makes no sense anymore (especially since normal, heroic and m+ all are infinitely farmable except for just M0, it's really stupid and nonsensical). Edit: nevermind I didn't know that m0 was on a daily lockout moving forward. Then it's really cool imo. I would say that the two weeks to wait until heroic dungeons is a bit long though.
Most likely you can open a vault on mythic week based on anything you do in heroic week. Reminder that m0 (and technically heroic dungeons) does count towards a vault.
And apparently the Myth track gear is going to 6/6, meaning that if you don't raid Mythic you won't be as competitive at all in higher end M+. You'll be trailing your M+ group by like 13 item levels. WTF.
Blizzard have to cater to people who play multiple characters bc that’s an expansion feature. Warbands is the big new feature so we all are supposed to have 4 characters. I’m not saying I disagree with you about timeline but 4 characters seems like an expectation.
I think having m+ locked is good for everyone. Its going to keep casuals who should not be doing m+ from fomo into failing keys early and save high end from themselves
They shouldn't have squished the M+ difficulty levels. I appreciate that the numbers were starting to get silly, but tt has made M+ much less accessible for newer players. The old system was alot better than this.
I'm not so much against the 17th vs 10th m+, but I hate that there's 18 days where nothing happens! It was never like that before. M0 should open at least week earlier, and then m+ could open on 10th, if not earlier. I'm going to have record amount of lev80s by the time TWW actually starts on 10th.
I think this will actually be great news. We normally only have time to level up and gear like one character and then the mythic season starts, now we have a lot more time to level up a couple characters and Gear them up and even do PvP honor farming. That way we can have a few toons ready to go for the new season start.
As someone who doesn't raid Mythic week one, but does do Heroic. I'm so in favor of having a heroic week prior to mythic release because it makes the race so much better to watch, and the first week is just a good chill week too.
I think this is mostly all to facilitate the tank changes and overall direction change. The effects of that will reverberate for a long time, and will need time to adjust and tune to get right. Not what I would want, but it is what it is.
Would be weird if M0 had a daily lockout, considering it drops normal raid difficulty item level. Every guild will just spam m0 every day until 1 or 2 days before reset, in order to be able to trade as many trinkets and weapons etc.
