This video sure was a sorry excuse for a how to play eh? i usually find it faster to watch a video vs read the rules, but clearly this video left so much out i actually wasted 10 minutes and im still gonna have to read the rules...thanks for nothing.
Nice video! :) A question.. If U take a legendary hammer, U can invade in another island? with hability of hammer? or u should invade around of ur tokens?
At subsequent rounds: can you go from any place of a game board to another game board and start from an entry point? Or do you need to go from a harbour to another harbour if going from game board to game board
To enter at a new entry point you would need 2+1 as a default unless there are other tokens already there (murlocs, in-decline race, etc.). When we play we consider "crossing the ocean" as the reason for the +1 to keep track.
An extra token counts as a non-empty slot so yes you would need +1 tokens to attack. If you attack a race in decline on a mountain for example you would need 2+1+1 to conquer that region (2 for the region, 1 for the in-decline token, and 1 for the mountain).
A little question about the Tauren race you can pick. It states that the tauren can't occupy nor conquer a region with less then 2 race tokens. does that mean that the "Tauren" can't conquer a region with only 1 race token but always 2 or does it mean that they can't conquer a region that has only 1 enemy race token?
@@daysofwonder Is this the same for Doomhammer? "Once per turn, the player who wields the Doomhammer may conquer any 1 region with only 1 token but must first pay 2 Victory Coins to the previous owner." Do I need just one race token to conquer a region or does it mean that there is only one token for defense in the region? I got czech version and in the rules it's specified as "to conquer any 1 region where there is only one token".
You don't have to pay one extra token for conquering a region with an item? lets say ; a region (2 tokens) and murlocs (1 token). if there is an artifact/legendary place do you need 1 extra token or not?
As far as what it's about, think of the game Risk. It's about the rise and fall of different nations that are trying control territories in a world too small for them. Going into decline is like when Rome fell. It's that culture fading, while newer ones grow. About how it works, that's more than a post lol
