This mini bike review showing riding for a kids smallest mini bike is the fit right 2020 db003 mini bike and it's the CHEAPEST MINI BIKE ON AMAZON. The fit right db003 40cc dirt bike is a kids mini bike with a 160 lb rider weight limit. KNOW THE RIDERS ABILITIES!!! This mini motorcycle is meant for riding on by kids of age 8 and up. I also bought this mini bike. It should be arriving any day now. luckily the thumb throttle I ordered already came in so I will be able to swap that out as soon as it comes. Great video man, this re assures me Im getting a somewhat decent mini bike for the price. ( For the kids of course) . lol

I tried pocket bikes before aka clown bikes and it's a nice change to have a big seat rather than hanging off the fender. I recommend 98 gas plus octane booster.

She did a great job.It’s a cool looking mini bike.My son was also having a hard time on his atv with the thumb throttle so I changed the spring.The return spring was to hard so I put a softer spring.I also turned down the screw on the thumb throttle so he won’t go fast.

She was a little too little but she was loving it! That thumb throttle should help. One of the adults was already jumping it today top speed and dumped it and it's in one piece yet no issues. I also, did a ton of wheelies and fell on it about 4 times in the sand and loose rocks 😆😆 the tiny terror!

Great idea! Amazon listing says 27 miles per tank, .3 gallon tank. I'm a little sceptical on 27, but with a spare fuel cell and picking it up if stuck in mud and just walking it until heard pack trails, great idea! I'm looking for front suspension options.

So far a bit of frame modification would be needed but I can get a 4 stroke 78-105 cc engine in there. The racing 49cc engine I bought for this has an issue as most do, the exhaust won't fit in any way that won't be highly likely to burn the rider. Since I have many small riders that cruise on these bikes I've been reluctant to play further during their main riding season.

Any idea where I can get aftermarket parts for this? I'm thinking there really aren't any. May have to rig up some sort of aftermarket muffler

The engine itself is a very commonly found 40cc engine. There isn't much to do to it that won't blow it up except some higher octane fuels. It already revs high. The best focus would be torque, which the stock exhaust keeps the power curve lower for good torque utilization when the clutch engages so you don't burn it up. The only crappy part about those engines are the fragile crank case rubber hose that cracks. Replace and you'll be good to go.

So far I use brake noodles to run thumb throttles and extended grips. I am still working on seeing what engines will work to swap as well as upgrades to existing. Make sure you check rear sprocket alignment when it comes! Should be fun!

Hiiii, I'm 5'7 and 158 pounds, would I fit!? Like would my feet get quished, and is it comfortable? Also would it fit in the trunk or just the space in the front or back seat?

I'm 6' and 185. Was fun for me. Fits in many places but tipped sideways can find a gas or oil leak happen pretty fast.

It's a possibility. I have a complete wiring harness to make an "easy build - street legal" mini bike or go kart. Still working out how I want to section it to easily digestible pieces. Not too many people like electrical and I'm one of em 😆😆

@@megoingfast its cool man lol 😂 I just noticed when i got my RB200 when you pull the brake it clicks and on further examination there is a button that when the brake is pulled an electrical circuit is closed and it seems to be connected to the engine and there are two metal prongs next to the button. 👍 Also loved to see the little one ride it, wholesome moments!

I started to, and found a few things out. Mainly, with every upgrade I did, younger riders used the upgrades in a way I'd rather they didn't. For larger adults the upgrades were nice but the adults had more for with the RB100 I did videos on. I put instructions online facebook groups for the upgrades, but decided not to go the video route for the time being. Example: A 49cc pocket bike race engine was a nice upgrade but the exhaust needs an adjustment or it will likely burn someone because of size of mini bike.

Some other people asked that same question, you can check out the replies on their comments. In my opinion, my 4 1/2 year old fits on the DB003 perfectly but when my 8 year old rode it I thought she could use something a bit bigger so I bought the Coleman RT100 (RB100) for her.

Most of the 49cc race engines have a clutch on them already with a sprocket. The 50cc weed whip type engines are hit or miss of what's adaptable easily. Too many engine types and manufacturers to really answer that question easily in RU-vid comments.

The engine/transmission looks like one from a motorized-bicycle kit, which typically come 80-100cc. Which means: You know if I'm thinking it, so is the OP...!;)

I have a 49cc race engine sitting next to it. Always a single back ordered part awaits everything in the builds ;) The 80cc engine I have I busted the crankshaft on it so it's out of commission for now.

The instruction manual that came with the mini bike says "Use a high detergent, premium quality motor oil certified to meet or exceed U.S. automobile manufacturer's requirement for service classification SG. SF. Motor oils classified SG, SF will show this designation on the container. SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all temperature use." When mine arrived I had only 10W-40 Honda brand motorcycle oil so that's what I put in it and it seems to be running just fine.

Hey I have a question I just bought a new coleman ct200 ex and everything I start the bike with choke it dies out so I have start it with half choke everytime do you know what the issue could be?

Could be many things. A little hard to tell digitally. Where you live may require a higher octane fuel. First thought is if you're not using 91 ethanol free try switching gas if the engine is brand new.

@@jackblack5636 switch it to 91 and see. 👍 One of the cheapest tests. A lot of these engines are finicky at different altitudes, temperatures, etc. I just switched 5 low speed jets for a similar issue on all my engines as we come into winter, however in summer I'll need to switch them back. Changing gas is an easy test and you can use the gas either way. Dump out the old gas though. The will be some left in the bowl afterwards.

I’m 13, 5’1” (please don’t make fun of me), and weigh like 95 lbs. I wanna have a bike to work with the engine and just cause they’re fun but I need something that’s quiet enough that I can ride in around the yard and that doesn’t tear up the grass but can still be fairly powerful (the yard has some steep hills). Ik it’s a lot to ask for in a cheap bike but do you think this could do that? I used to want to get a dirt bike cuz my neighbor had one and then I saw how expensive they are but now I might be able to actually get one!

For what you are getting and what you could learn I would rather recommend looking at the RB100, and no way would insult you. I have a LOT of riders over here in the same height and weight. The RB100/RT100 are not currently in stock on Walmart, sadly, but easier to work on without an engine swap. I have another engine I am looking to swap on this mini bike as a follow up video to test how it works, but the engine on this mini bike can't do too much to it for mods. The RB100, or Coleman cc100x, are a little better torque, and you can learn more from them if that's what you want. I ride this bike a bit, and the 5-7 year old prefer this, but the 8+ year olds already have their eyes set on the RB100 I have out there.

@@megoingfast I was just looking on Walmart and I found the Coleman bt200x and it has free shipping so it would only end up being $30 more than the rb100. Do you think the bt200x would be better for me since if I grow soon the bt200x would still fit me better?

@@TradeMarkCuber - I bought the DB003 for my 4 1/2 year old and it's the perfect size / speed for him. My other kids (8 1/2 and 7 years old) had a blast riding it too but I just bought Coleman RT100 mini bikes for them because I want them to ride something a little bit larger, with a bit more power, that will also be the correct size / speed for them for several years. BTW, the RT100 is the same as the RB100 but the panels are patterned in RealTree camo, hence the different model #, and Walmart charges $30 more for it (current prices as of 31-Aug-2021 is $409 vs. $379). If you bought yourself the BT200 already, well played because it has been out of stock for a little while now and/or ridiculously priced at sellers other than Walmart.

I took the lining out of the noodle and sized it up how I needed on the throttle. I cut it to length. Then, threaded the thumb throttle cable end through it and clipped into the carb. It's quite easy to clip in, the end slides into the butterfly lever by removing spring pressure.

I weight 180 and 6' tall. Probably depends on your comfort and flexibility. 1 of the 2 I bought has derail issues when hitting bumps when my 200lb+- buddies are ridding it and hitting large bumps. The chain tensioner plate needs to be strengthened then it's fine so far. We've got some hours on both.

The first page inside the owner's manual says that you must always use 90 octane or higher and "FAILURE TO DO SO WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!" so I'm guessing this is a pretty important point they're trying to make, lol. The gas stations in my area sell 87, 89, or 93 octane gasoline, there's no 91 octane to be found so I'm paying premium prices for my little guy to ride his DB003.

Thanks mini bike man. I do believe that this engine is at 1.6-1.8 hp or 1.4kw. with every mods in the book, it may get up to 14 hp if I really do everything. Homemade fuel injection, homemade supercharger, race cams and valve springs higher compression, flywheel mod, ignition timing, exhaust, and crankshaft sharp edge. Maybe more mods and will go 30-35 in 2 seconds. The engine block and internal parts will have to be reinforced and restricted to not blow up. 4 hp is good for me at 2,600 RPM and 7-8 ft/lbs . Just speculation.

The engine it comes with is a 9,000 rpm low torque weed Wacker engine. Best way to mod without blowing it is fuel changes, or engine change with clutch and rear sprocket to 35 chain. I've done some mods, but will be looking at a different engine. Just picked up a little Honda 160 clone to see what will fit in the future.

Did you mean to say "pink" color? They sell this model of mini bike in two colors and the one in the video is "yellow" but in real life it's actually more like beige. I haven't seen the pink one in person but from the pictures in the listing, it looks legit PINK--like everything: the frame, the fenders, the plastic gas tank, all pink.

@@ChicoMillion I had no videos. Was not worth it in the world of RU-vid outside of nos shot on 100 octane and send it to it's grave. The 40cc engine kicks up 9000 rpm+. To increase rpm was death sentence. To increase torque on it meant displacement mods. To get to a better performance engine it was cheaper to get a 49cc pocket bike race engine. I gave one of the db003 away to a friend's kids and the other sits as I have been into other projects to have an income this year. The engine on it has been a brute and between the two mini bikes has too many hours to count before moved on to other stuff.

@@megoingfast - I agree with what you said in another comment reply, better off going with the RB100 (for the same price) if anyone is looking to do engine mods, plus you’re starting out with a much bigger engine that way too. I bought the DB003 for one specific reason only, because my youngest child is too little to safely ride anything bigger until he grows a bit. I bought an extra RT100 that he can grow into a year or two from now and I’ll be riding around on it until that day comes, lol.
