holy fuck, not only can you tig weld, but you tig better than every non-welding specific youtuber ive ever seen. im only 21, i crave that work station you got
You remind me of a young me, now 20 years later own two businesses. You are definitely in that position and the common sense you have will take you farther than your peers. Can already see it
I wouldn't limit the top speed, and I would turn it into a street sleeper to cruise around in for fun. But 64 mph top speed that freaking nice! Heck put a cheap speedometer on it and find used motorcycle lights to be visible at night. Safe travels!
Sick build bro, had me cracking up when you were talking about it likely being geared too tall then when you took it on the test ride and that clutch engaged 😂
I skipped to 9 min but I must be the bigger pro because I use the fire method to inflate and seat the rim. Saves DAYS. I use just one squirt on one side and make the squirt pattern long enough to light it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DEBdQlG4rqY.html
Pro tip. Use a wire wheel around the bead of the wheel before you remount the new tire. The old bead sealant and rubber left from the old tires that have been on there plus the corrosion of the metal over time can lead to leaks around the bead. Nothing more aggravating to me than needing to air up a tire every single day because there's a slow leak somewhere. I spent ten years working as both an auto and tractor trailer mechanic. That's how we did it in the shop. Very few to no returns on tires for leaks. That's pretty much true on all old wheels that have a bead packed full of junk, rust, or corrosion. It'll leak given half a chance.
The framing of the opening shot looks so good. So beautiful. So many points of visual interest while not being cluttered. Looks like something a cinematographer would set up.
Well, so far, I like the video, except I have to be honest so many people do these videos and they speed them app and hurry through it like I seen happen on this, a couple of times the problem with that is, if the people watching it don't actually know what they're doing they're. Going to have a problem learning from you. Because your video's going so fast that they can't follow what you're doing. Well enough you know this video here? If someone knows about what it is that you're doing. Yeah, they'll be able to follow it, but
Does anybody know if it matters which way you put the clutch on the shaft because on my go kart I have been using it the other way with the chain facing out
for tires you start pulling from the nipple because if you started from the other side you will pull the ties in the rubber seal and can damage it so always start the tire and finish the tire on the nipple
i’ve been wanting to make something with a motor on it for about three-four years now, seeing this dude make all of his really makes me want to do it even more 😮💨😂
DO IT trust me i have a mini bike and a gokart. tons of fun. ive driven a turbocharged 270hp jeep and it doesnt come near the fun of a kart or mini bike.
actually bro it doesnt look that hard, and not that expensive. I just got into motorized bikes now, built my first bike (2nd bike now with same first engine), bicycle engine kit (a zeda 100/YD100) and I was able to go 39mph all stock on 36t sprocket. Once I get a new better engine (LD90) I'll probably be able to go 40-50+ with upgrades/mods. I wanna do minibikes now. There's a Mega Moto 80 frame for $350 on sale rn, predator 212 for $150, upgrade valve springs and rods, and billet flywheel for $150+.
gotta use way more soap than that. the rim was dry and not even wet which means the soap wasnt doing anything. i usually soak the bead completely and it makes it super easy
I did the same gearing mod on my mini bike. Stage 3 212. And the clutch was larger than stock, at least the gearing. Hit 89 MPH, sketchiest shit ever. So much fun lol
Ive got the same or nearly the same minibike, bought it anfter it sat for 4 years. It had a Predator 212 and a torque converter with a stock 50 tooth rear sprocket. Got it running and after some playing around I was able to hit 55mph with a stock carburetor. I then aqcuired a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard Vtwin 479cc 16 hp engine. After playing with the rear sprocket i was able to get it up to 80mph (after making my own clutch using pieces of a chinese 4 wheeler centrifugal clutch because the normal centrifugal clutches would slip really bad if i gave it more than 1/4 throttle under 20 mph) I used a 14 tooth clutc,h driving a 24 tooth jackshaft gsproctet turning a 12 tooth jackshaft sprocket driving a 32 tooth rear wheel sprocket. Im also running a 34mm round slide Mikuni on a homemade intake, 28lb valve springs with steel retainers and keepers, and dragpipes. You can see a video (Short, 36 seconds ) on my RU-vid channel Buckkowalski.
This video is 100% fake news! Has to be he changed that tire faster than I have ever been able to! The last one I did I had to use a forklift to break the bead! Please tell me it was video magic and not me being completely incapable.
what clutch were you using? also any info on where to get one for high horsepower. my minibike has a torque converter bc the clutch would always burn up
Good job man, you have some skills brother, yeah, you can hear the clutch start to lock up n the bike pull, 65mph, that is crazy, you don't have enuff brake on there to stop that thing... lol
