@@wherethefishare When you get a chance to come back to WV try trout fishing the North Fork of Cranberry River or the Day Run camping area of the Williams River, all in the same general area. Then slide over to the Greenbrier River in Seebert area or down to Alderson, WV and catch some huge smallmouths. Where you fished last time in WV, the Cranberry was moving too fast. Can’t believe you made that hike in the rain and cold. I have backpacked it in the fall into the wilderness loop for four days. Beautiful place. Where you crossed the creek at the old stone bridge abutments, the trail used to be blocked and we had to climb the hill there and later drop back down on the trail. Best hiking book on the Monongahela Forest is by Johnny Molloy called Day and Overnight Hikes - WV’s Monongahela National Forest. Extremely accurate trail book for landmarks and camping locations. Love the channel! Edit: to correct spelling.
