Striped Bass in the Grass Flats of Chesapeake Bay | 

Game fish love to populate the grass flats of the Chesapeake Bay, especially from spring to fall. The Chesapeake Bay is filled with grass flats - often full of Speckled Trout, Red Drum and Striped Bass. The trick is to learn how and when they move up and down the bay depending on the season.
I set out to look for Speckled Trout on the grass flats and had some memorable early morning blow-ups, but none were landed. About mid-day, I saw a fish blasting bait along the marsh edge and sent a Clear Heddon Spook Jr its way. The fish failed to get hooked 5 times in a row, so I switched to the Bone Peanut Plug and landed this solid fightin' Rockfish.
