FINALLY! Yes he finally told her. it looked like he was going to change his mind again like he did so many times in the past but not this time. My fave part was when lois jumped on top of clark and all the papers fly up in the air like a celebration. Every episode keeps getting better and better.
This is proof that Lois was the one for him. Everyone, besides Lois and Lana, kinda put Clark in a situation where he had to reveal or they found out beforehand. For Lana, he only revealed to her in the idea that he may never see her again since she was obviously planning on disappearing. He voluntarily told Lois though I guess has to kinda convince him to reveal it.
Amazing scene. It absolutely never gets old. Guys, if a woman looks at you like lois looks at clark there at the end - you are the luckiest man in the world.
@inconmensurable I know what you mean! I think a big reason their scenes are so enjoyable, even the serious/romantic ones like this one, is because of how genuine their emotions seem.

Come to think of it other than Pete, Lois is the only female that Clark told his secret this openly I'm not counting neither chole or Lana because those didn't came as natural compared to this scene with Lois, sure Lois got a glimpse of Clark's powers when she removed the blue K dagger from him.
I think that's the whole point of why Lois is so perfect for him. Both Lana and Chloe talk to Lois about how she would handle Clark's secret, and she tells Chloe to keep it and let him come to her. And then she's following her own advice and leaves Clark to determine his life, even though she knows already. She respects him.
i watched this scene for like 15 minits (know its wrong spelled but my brain doens´t wanna work right now) and i litterly attacked my cat of joy, squeesded her until she was serioulsy thinking about biting me so i would let her go, dropped her started jumping up and down in my room then went out and gave my dog and my other cat the same treatment but much much less and nicer. FINALLY CLARK!!! ABOUT TIME!!!
A TV show that I will truly miss especially the last 3 seasons that made me hooked up to it so bad. I liked it too from it's first season and interestingly watched the Lana & Clark love affair. Lana was great for what she represents in Clark's growth. You aren't crazy though, at one point they did intend on doingtheir own storyline and have him end up with Lana. They actually used certain episodes in season 6 and 7 as tests. Erica Durance scored so high with fans when they actually allowed her to be a main part of the episodes that they realized they needed to give her space to breathe and finally removed Lana.
@ryanabate9908 In a December 2022 Hollywood Reporter interview, the original Smallville showrunners (Miles and Gough) said they regretted stretching the on and off Clark and Lana relationship for years. They admitted the Clark/Lana thing got "repetitive." And admitted that Lana had no "agency" in that show. After, Miles and Gough left in season 8 as showrunners(replaced by Brian Peterson etc..),Clark and Lois got the momentum they deserved. Clois especially truly become front and center in seasons 9 and 10 . Tom Welling got more involved in the production of the show in seasons 9 and 10 too.

@Shubhra Sarkar you'll see a lot of people say otherwise, but Neilson ratings don't lie. When Erica Durance took over as female lead in season 8, ratings went up. When Lana came back in the middle of that season ratings dropped to their lowest and didn't pick back up until Lois had a flashback of her and Clark in the future sleeping together during season 9. This data tells me fans were hesitant about the show until it was clear that Lana was done
@ZanzibarGirl1 You're right. Homecoming was a great episode, end scene and all. Over all, Homecoming is a better episode than Isis, on so many levels, but I prefer the Isis ending over the Homecoming one. But that's just me.

season 10 was the worst like it was written by kids of 10 years old. They screw up season 10 big no wonder it was the last season. I wish this show can return and be something like mix or better. but with the same actors...
One of the worst episodes and a truly underwhelming moment. Out of all the ways Lois "found out" about Clark on the show this was the lamest of them all. There's literally nothing but dialogue that connects it to Smallville. No visual feel of Smallville or the Superman mythos present. The show had established Clark's supersuit already. He wore the 'S' logo since S9 and they just couldn't use it in the scene??! Seriously?! First a lackluster public reveal of Green Arrow and this...Ugh!

I’m only 11 years late. That’s about average for me. It’s crucial that she tells him that she already knew. It takes it from she loves the blur who happens to be Clark, to she loves Clark, but she needed for him to be totally honest with her that he was also the blur.
