Her acting is annoying sounds like she's doing an snl skit so I think she's cringe. They showed lana and Clark fit well until they couldn't be together because of plot, Of Clark and Lois. Her humour is dryer than the desert. And the way she stares at him is so Wierd and awkward everytime lol I don't get it really 😂
@@jessicacaleno1998 Lmao yeah you don't get it, thinking it's weird & awkward, you need to get your eyes checked... Tom & Erica had the best chemisty on tv, it was umatched, she was amazing & the BEST Lois Lane ever for alot of fans. Tom & Erica's Lois & Clark were by far the greatest imo, & that was because they had the most intense passionate chemistry of any 2 actors I have ever seen!
L: "Well, I guess it's best that neither of us remembers. I mean, I can't really picture the two of us, uh..." C: *looks silently, intrigued* L: "You don't think... that we...?" C: *smiles, gets closer* "Think that we what ?" L: "You know... that we...?" C: *little laugh, looks askance* L: *embarrassed, cherry red* C: "No Lois." L: *relieved sigh* C: "I think I'd remember." Dammit Clark, you enjoyed torturing her you little sadist... sweet revenge, am I right ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was a good catch. She said something about that to him when his Kal-El side took over in Crusade in her very first episode when they were in the hospital & Kal-El wanted to leave. About uncomfortable silences and him not doing his part in holding up a conversation.
One of man's favorite passions: watching women continue putting their foot in their mouth while he stays silent, and she struggles to never admit fault.
Both Clarke and Lois were madly into each other from the very beginning and barely even knew. Smallville will forever remain at the summit of my ALL time favourite series! #TakeMeBack
Also Rosenbaum outed them recently when he was talking about smallville and he said costars shouldn't hook up on a tv show and he said it just doesn't end well and Its a very bad bad bad idea. Hmmm gee I wonder who he was talking about there ? Lol and also I asked Erica 4 months ago if she and Tom had an affair cuz there are videos of her and Tom cheating on their spouses back then. She then got pissed and said the videos are fake and toms instagram is fake and Everyone instagram is fake and then she went off Twitter for a month and came back with a cryptic tweet that said the word SILENCE. So if nothing happened then how come she didn't deny it right? Or she didn't say no Tom and I didn't have an affair. So instead she hides like a coward lol. Oh please can you say guilty. Lol
dbzking02 Well, given the fact that Clark was scared shitless in the Lois Gone Wild act before he got dosed with Red Kryptonite, I’d say that would be something to laugh about in the future of the chemistry of Lois and Clark.
@@TheScribe1.0 you do know tom and Erica were sleeping with each other off set ? And they had to play like their characters hated each other on the show lol. And Yall said Tom welling was a bad actor lmao. He was the best actor on that show him and Erica lok
@@hiprunteredits2928 haha you're kidding right? First or all there are videos of them caught cheating at the 2010 comic con of mr tom welling seeing asking Erica wanna leave this place, let's go and another video of Erica waiting for Tom by the stairs after the comic con and she says let's go to my room Tom and Tom says what babe. Not to mention tom welling was pursuing Erica from the moment she came on the show as he was the one who brought her back on the show in season 4 when she was only supposed to be in four episodes. And tom brought her back and by the time she joined the cast in s5 he started directing and he put his lover Erica as his leading lady. And he directed their romantic scenes. And also on Howard stern show in 2006 Erica was scared to talk about Tom infront of her husband. Howard asked her if she fancied Tom welling and Erica got scared and said he's very handsome and he's a great guy but I'm not.....she then changed the subject. And she then got hella panic mode. Her husband was backstage listening. And this was 2006. I mean I don't know how the hell y'all didn't catch the clues. Lol
The chemistry between these two was palpable. This show did an EXCELLENT job using his relationship with Lana and Lois to convey how much Lois Lane is needed by Clark Kent. Without her, he is incomplete…he knows it, he fights it, he hides behind his childhood crush. When he finally gives in to it, his entire outlook on life changes. He embraces being the hero that was his destiny….well done by all on the show…
I swear, those two always had so much written on their faces without the need for words that it was a fangirl's dream, watching them interact. It was so obvious they had simmering feelings for each other, but they needed a slow burn, and boy, did the writers deliver on that.
I always liked the little smirks that she did when they were still just friends. One of my favorite examples is when Clark (embracing his Kryptonian heritage) picked her up in the hospital and set her aside. She has been attracted to him physically from the beginning for sure. The more time they spent together the more obvious it was that they had chemistry. Clark never caught on that she liked him until like 3 Seasons after she started to show obvious signs of it.
Michael McCarthy you're absolutely right. It's especially clear in the 8th season. But the first time I realized it is when Lucy Lane (Lois sister) visited in season 4 and started flirting with Clark. You could sense how jealous Lois was. To me they're relationship in this show was the reason the show lasted 10 seasons. Lord knows that without her we wouldn't have survived those Lana filled latter seasons.
David Hernandez When I watched the series I thought at the end of the 7th or beginning of the 8th Season they would finally hook up, but they made Clark entirely oblivious.
Michael McCarthy yeah I didn't like that. But I can't tell you how much I loved season 8 Ep. 4 "Committed" when she's forced to admit that she loves him
No other comic book oriented shoe has had chemistry between 2 people like Clark and Lois on Smallville. It was a pleasure to watch them interact, they unlike Lana and Clark, had chemistry without even trying
@@DReaves Yeah they had great chemistry. People have recency bias. It was just a bit hard to forgive the character after she dated Lex, but in a sense, you could blame Clark for not being honest with her to lead her down the dark paths she took. I loved the two in season 4 and 5.
I LOVE Clark and Lois's scenes. They are absouletely HILARIOUS! I think way deep down they like each other, but they play it off like they can't stand each other. That's how soulmates usally start out, by hating each other.
Amen, bro! When my parents first met, my dad was in my mom's brother's car because he had to pick her up at a church bake sale. Mom's brother was smoking, but dad wasn't. Mom didn't know that, so when she looked in the car and saw all the smoke, she scowled and said, "You smoke too?" Right then, my dad decided that he would not like her. Obviously, that didn't last because here I am, telling the story! Haha! Anyway, I agree. The best relationships start that way, both in tv and films and real life.❤️
Sounds like a really sweet story Claire LMAO! Tell them both that you love them every much, and am glad that they met each other, or else you would not be here on this earth.
@@Raison_d-etre Lois and Clark didn't Ever "hate" each other! From day 1, he invited Her to stay at his Family's home. He even gave up his Bedroom (begrudgingly) and Also, *saved* her Life, several times in Season 4. He was in a sheer *panic* when she was Missing in the episode, "Recruit" 😱 Yes, they _liked_ getting on Each other's nerves! Going at it Verbally! and no other Girl in SV got to Him that way! i.e. not Falling at his feet. 😏 Lois got under his skin On Purpose!.. it was all in good FUN! She was *never* mean spirited towards him, like Lana was (after _she_ had sex with Bizarro) or Chloe (after she got Jimmy killed) 😌
The thing is that Smallville really wasn't a humorous show overall, just that once Lois came, humor started to get injected more and more into the series. The Flash actually has always had humor at it's core, but it's gotten so serious now I wonder if they'll ever really get back to the way it was in Seasons 1 and 2.
Arrow doesnt leave much room for humor. In season 1 they could make a running gag about oliver and his missing years, like movies and songs... And flash tried to bring back the humor but it just got childish
I like Lois but did not like her being brought in season 4 the way they did because I think her inclusion at a time when they didn't have anything for her to really do ended up turning that season into one of the most filler-filled seasons of the series. I think it would've been awesome if she made a cameo appearance in season 3's Exile when Clark was on red-k to witness some of the stuff he did as the "one man army" and later on in the series bring those events back for Clark to answer for (like when the Blur started showing up). Then I'd say she should've had 3-4 episodes at most in season 4 but in much different plots than what they had her in (except for Commencement) and starting in season 5 she should have become a regular as a student in the same college Clark went to (seasons 5-8 should have had a strong college setting along with Clark & Lois working for the college's newspaper & starting to build their names as journalists). That would've given Lois a real purpose and created non-filler episodes with her. Lana & Chloe should've both been phased out. Both of their roles ended up becoming very negative with Lana causing Clark to be all mopey and focus on pretty much only her & starting in season 5 with Chloe being turned into a hacker & mother figure for Clark & telling him what to do and teaching him lessons that he already learned (like the lesson he learned in Fade which he already learned on his own in season 3's Hereafter). Chloe was turned into something she was never meant to be and went from being my favorite female character to my least favorite. It would have been much better to kill her off during the events of Commencement as a result of Lex's obsession for the stones and not letting her escape to safety. It would have also been ironic had they done it like that because the season would have started with Lex protecting her from Lionel only to have ended with Lex being responsible for her death by putting her in danger all because of his obsession for power. If they really wanted Lois on the show at the time, Chloe had to go because Chloe was meant to be the female reporter on the show when it started and Lois of course is the ultimate female character in that role. So by keeping Chloe they just hurt Lois' development and the show as well. I didn't really like most of the humor that started in season 4 either. It felt forced compared to the humor in seasons 1 & 2 like when Clark practiced heatvision on the Scarecrow with Jonathan and various other moments like Rush with Clark, Pete & Chloe being not themselves. The humor was definitely less then, but it felt natural & not forced where they didn't play that stupid goofy music they played starting with season 4 when "funny" things happened with Clark, Lois, Shelby, etc. I found stuff like Jonathan's behavior in Nicodemus or him holding a rifle to Lex in Heat, or Lex being set on fire in the same episode by Desiree way funnier than that forced stuff which to me is cheesy & not the funny kind of cheesy like some of those scenes in the Donner Superman film. Actually the funniest episode for me post-season 4 was Labyrinth in season 6 when the phantom was making Clark think his entire life was a delusion & that episode was intended to be serious. I was laughing like crazy when they showed Jor-El as a bottle of soap and when they showed Lex in the wheelchair yelling at him like a madman as a result of Clark running crazy in the middle of the road during the altered version of the Porsche accident (the WheelLex relationship was a favorite at Kryptonsite lol).
Dude, before this there were a lot of hints. Season 4, her debut episode, she saw him naked and teased him about it in the next episode. In said next episode Lana assumed Clark loved Lois before he even realized he did.
I feel like no matter what sex, the opposite will attract. A fiery, personality like Lois will attract a calming, protective personality like Clark. I've been there.
Some of the best CLois moments are when she has to face up to her really embarrassing "events." Lois goes speechless and squirms in her embarrassment. PRICELESS!
Well they were attracted to each other from the beginning, hence all the bickering.. that was total sexual tension. Then they developed a friendship and realized they cared for each other, and then that care turned to love and they fell hard for one another
I miss this cast of smallville. The cast dynamic was so genuine on set and on tv.They all are grown.Lol I was heartbroken when smallville ended back in 2011.I though I had no purpose in life. But good to see the cast are doing well
I love this episode!! It gave us a preview of the very hot relationship between Lois and Clark!! They ate amazing here in there interactions with as much going on with looks and body reactions as dialogue. Tom and Erica are perfect as Lois and Clark!!
@@wtcvidman Because unlike the "nice" Clark Kent, Clark Luthor says exactly what's on his mind. As for Nice Clark, he's a terrible liar so he ends up hiding his lies in sarcasm. ^_^
One thing I always notice and love about Lana and Lois is that they are internally opposite what they project externally. People, especially Clark looked at Lana always as the vulnerable damsel in distress always needing to be protected and Lois always as tough as nails boss lady. But it’s actually the reverse for them. What Lana seemed on the outside is actually what Lois really is on the inside and vice versa
Clark missed his moment to add frosting to the cake when Lois asked if they had sex. He should've wound her up and said yes and embellished a bit about how great she was and how he never knew she was such a gymnast. LMAO. I would've loved to have seen Lois really squirm to make up for her always smart mouth. Clark, you lost your chance. "Hey Lois, how do you do that thing from the swing porch again?" "Why Lois, it was a night to remember."
Clark is so very reticent, naturally quiet, most the time. It makes sense ... I loved and lived with such a man, sans the red and blue suit. Trust me, He will signal to you when he wants to speak. Trust his love and friendship at all other times. Going to re-watch the entire series this winter.
"Crimson" was my fav episode and without question a milestone - the show IMHO would have needed more moments of Clois doing an emotional striptease, like the party crashing, acting beyond their everyday role+image.
Smallville wasn't Perfect either, but it definitely got Wayyyyyy better, once Clark joined the DP! 🤗😍 it was Super awesome in seasons 8-10, minus a handful of Trash character Arcs! 😌
I think the CW try's too hard with an agenda rather then just focusing on great storytelling. Smallville was better balanced letting the writers just be writers but yea it wasn't perfect either.
This was the first time Lois thought about Clark in a different way like...for real. She thought he was cute and liked flirting with him but it was nothing serious. After seeing the whitesnake cd...yeah, she knew.
Pray tell, you mean there is actually a scene where Lois is at a loss for words??? I'm going to have a heart attack. lol Clark should've told her sex with her was great and never knew she was so passionate. It would've been worth it to bust her chops. Lois made Clark a Whitesnake cd. Priceless! Clark should've milked this part for all it's worth. I would've loved to have seen Lois squirm.
Tom Welling is just gorgeous! HOT HELL! Am I the only one who thinks that? Tall, Dark, and Handsome! Damn he could wear a potato sack and look hot! Lord have mercy!!!
