For such a simple scene, it's full of beautiful little moments and complemented by a great script. Doesn't come across as corny at all, but natural and this is where credit goes to the actors.
I think so too! He and Lois are totally a riot. I am a bonafide Clark and Lois captain of their ship but if Clark wasn't going to grow up to be Superman and this isn't an origin story, I would be happy with Oliver and Lois endgame, not gonna lie. LOL.
@@TheScribe1.0 a knock off batman is a founding member of the justice league green arrow is not in his league he doesn't even have the kind of money batman has they just used him because batman is in the same amount of popularity as superman so they didn't want to use him in here
People take the way Clark and Lana look at each other wrong anyway. Clark and Lana aren't looking at each other with residual romantic feelings. They are looking at each other with resent.
I kinda have mixed feelings about that scene. Even though Oliver is being a very good friend by comforting Lois he's also the one who told Lana to come to the wedding 🤷🏾♀️
I wish they would shown how Clark was falling for Lois better. Like showing the two of them kicking butt and making Lana jealous. These episodes with Lana were the only episodes I felt were poorly written.
i agree. lana was clarks high school gf. i was never a fan of lana. all she did was doubt him time and time again. chloe knew him better than lana did. when she died in season 5 i was surprised and felt bad. then clark goes back to reset everything. then we have lana die at the end of season 6 and i was soemwhat affected but not much. then she comes back again. i n this episode when clark and lois are about to kiss i was cussing at my tv. i was quite mad. its pushing half way through season 8. get off the lana train already. we dont even get 2 seasons of clark and lois. i wish we had an epsidoe in which clarks shows hes moved on from her. in the worlds or austin powers "why wont you die?"
It seemed like Clark and Lana was done with each other in this episode then a couple episodes later they were kissing each other. Can't remember if it was the episode after this or the episode after that episode. Been 14 years since I watched these episodes. It was later discovered it wasn't Lana choice to break up with Clark, but she was forced to send the video saying she was done with him.@@eishiba3916
I like how she thinks nobody knows who shes referring to when everybody saw them dancing and saw lana walk in. I think we like to fool ourselves that nobody notices.
Oliver and Lois got a closure and character arcs that Lana did not. I don’t know why Lana and Clark could not grow out of their love. We get to learn that Lana remarries and has children, but we don’t get to see her self-actualize as an individual, so her “I love you more than you’ll ever know” cliche goodbye to Clark hangs in the air. And neither CK nor Lana Lang deserved that mess.
Lois deserved better from Clark than what Smallville gave her. There should’ve been a clarifying moment when Clark realizes Lois is gorgeous and he needs her.
Clois relationship is kinda weird because at least one of the two are interest or think they're interest in someone else because when Lois started to develop feelings for Clark,he thought he was still into human kryptonite and now he's gonna be into her while she begins to have the hots for rbb but I hope it's just a little crush so Clois can finally get together

Do you know what? I love Lois and Clark, but I also love Lois and Oliver. And I always thought if the writers were going to wait more than 4 years to put Lois and Clark together, I wish they had kept Lois and Oliver together longer, they were good together!!
It refers to the Ray Milland movie of the 1940s about an alcoholic. Milland won Oscar. Frankly, I’m surprised the writers referenced a movie that old b/c the demographic of the Smallville viewer probably doesn’t have the vaguest idea what it means.
