I love how Lois knew early on that her and Clark had a spark. Instead of running from it, she made sure to protect by not going back to their sibling banter. She avoided it by not moving in. She also knew he didn't see it yet so she simply advised him to keep his eyes open. She was far more mature by this point than Lana was when she had to make these decisions. Lois was able to help navigate Clark in the right direction
I always found what Lois said here odd “When the right girl walks into your life you’ll know” because the whole point of their relationship is that neither of them knew it for certain for like ten years. So what she said isn’t true.
He has to focus for his hearing and Clark, even with all his powers, can be very oblivious even at the best of times. It's probably his biggest weakness, even including Kryptonite.
I might get hate for saying this but when he mentioned Chloe I felt bad. She loved him the longest IMO and was the closest to him. Sadly Clark could never allow himself to feel anything more for Chloe than just friendship. If Lois and Lana weren’t in the picture Clark and Chloe would have had a chance. There are moments throughout the seasons where Clark looks at her not in friendship. But something more romantic 💘
I don't understand how he "didn't see it" when on S1 they almost dated hahaha I mean, Chloe then kind of dismissed it with the whole "we should stay friends" but he knew that she liked him, at least.
If Maxima returned I hoped she’d be replaced by the gal from Supergirl. No offense to the present gal but she just didn’t do it for me. Or she could’ve been played by Cassidy Freedmen. Damn Smallville writers.
