It goes to show you that Bizarro was becoming more human like. He wouldnt have bothered saving anyone at first. But its possible that he really had feelings for her. Bizarro was an intriguing character on Smallville.
i like the little hints given here like how "clark" is wearing the blue jacket which is what bizarro always wears but clark wears occasionally and how he flew up instead of super jumping.
It's scenes like this that always make me wonder how fast Bart really is. He's supposedly WAY faster than Clark to the point where it's not even a competition and Clark and Bizzaro are about equally matched.
@@dannyphantom3090 Wdym... Its like comparing Usain Bolt to Tyson gay... Bolts greatness doesn't take away that Tyson Gay is the 2nd fastest man alive... Even flash said Superman runs at speed of light if need be
@Lo Livingston Ok, using their fastest recorded 100m, Usain Bolt is less than 2% faster than Tyson Gay The Flash is multiple times faster than Superman Now, to repeat the question: I've always wondered the same thing because Clark's speed was so OP in this show, so it's like, "How fast is the actual Flash if Superman can do all this?"
@Lo Livingston Also, in the comics Both characters have moved faster than the speed of light The star "Vega" is 25.05 Light-years away Jimmy Olsen used his watch to signal Superman. The watch uses a certain sound frequency that only Superman can hear. Superman was hanging around Vega, heard the sound from 25 light-years away, through a vacuum, and got back to Earth, all in around about 10 minutes
@@nerddwarf I believe in Flashpoint, or the comic set before he runs back, Superman tries to stop Flash and they have a back and fourth. Superman says he has managed to tie on some races with Flash. Barry replies "You're right Clark, but those were for charity" then vanishes in a red and yellow blur. Superman stops and says something like "Even I'M not that fast!"
On the speed thing: a bomb explodes with projectiles moving anywhere from 2-4 miles per second (7,000 - 20,000 MPH). Goto the scene in AMBUSH where Clark saves Lois at The Talon. Clark moves faster than the bomb explosion and shockwaves, but you can see toasters and stuff moving. So while we know that ultimately he can travel alot faster, he was probably able to move at 10-20 miles per second in short distances. Over longer distances, he could probably go faster.
Bizarro and Clark have identical stats, the only difference is that Clark subconsciously holds himself back from his full potential all the time. Bizarro doesn't.
Awesome effects! Season 7 still had the budget to make you think anything could happen in any given episode. Compare this bullet time scene to the one in 200th episode ‘Homecoming’ (which I do actually like), it shows you just how critically the budget got cut from Season 8 onward. This scene 3 years earlier looks infinitely better.
At 0:34 (presents) and 0:44 (champagne and gift) they totally boast with their effects xD But why not? They make it really great :D I love Smallville's effects
Yeah, this was Bizarro taking advantage of an opportunity to impress Lana as he pretended to be Clark. Um, I wonder what else they did to distinguish Bizarro from Clark, other than the physical distortion of his features in sunlight. Seriously, IMO of course, I thought that Bizarro was much better looking than the regular Clark, who looked scruffy next to Bizarro. Yet, I know that it was TW. ??
Agreed on the bullettime thing- REMEMBER THIS - "Where's neo?" " Out doing his Superman Thing" THIS IS CLARK"S REVENGE_ the Matrix trenchcoat in S9(which is STILL AS badass as back in the Matrix Days) - Plus,Clark's Superspeed being on a whole other level that Neo's bullettime wouldn't really even reach- (neo can barely percieve bullet speed on his best showing,he cant move around at any excessive speed in that mode like Clark) Smallville= Best thing since the Matrix. ( im a big fan of both)
Considering comic Superman is massively faster than light, and Smallvile always emphasised speed its possible he was LS already. Besides, in "Identity" he outran light.
@@Dad_of_War, In the comic books when Berry and Clark raced each other, they would always tie, or Clark would lose when he slowed to save somebody. Either one could go fast enough to time travel.
all the people saying time stops? time hasnt stopped at all, its moving at normal speed. clark is moving so fast that what it seems like to him. a similar thing was done in the wild wild west tv show. A villian was able to move really fast and from his point of view time stops and everyone is frozen. for its time it was a brilliant idea
This shows why superspeed isn't possible. When you run, half the motion is falling; watch him bounce as he runs. Half that should be at the set speed of gravity.
I understand why you would think that he is moving at the speed of light. But he really isn't, however i'm not saying that he can't move at lightspeed. The reason why everyone (except Clark) appears to be "frozen" is because of "Clark time". ''Clark time'' is when Clark is operating at super speed, he is able to see the world as it would normally be seen except moving very slow or not at all.
Not fast enough. The bomb was about to explode within less then a second. He had to move 10 stories or so and across a hall and then open a door and grab a package. Plus Bizarro was faster then Clark. Mind you, moving that fast - the backdraft would blow everyone the fuck around the office lol..
Does anyone who's seen either the video or the Gemini episode of Smallville know if the show ever explained why Bizarro Clark could fly and "normal" Clark can't fly? And, of course, Clark flew as "Kal-El" in the Crusade episode before Martha helped save Clark in the cave using the Black Kryptonite to split his two halves apart.
It was explained multiple times throughout the show that Clark couldn't fly until the series finale because of 2 main reasons. The 1st being that he was extremely afraid of heights and the 2nd was that he was subconsciously suppressing that power because he wasn't fully embracing his kryptonian heritage. It wasn't until he finally realized that he could still be Clark Kent and Kal-El that Clark could finally fly in the finale.
@AndrewTheShort No, it's no that the actors are moving. The thing is that time is still passing, but VERY slowly. That's why you see them moving a little bit.
Exactly what episode is this from? I thought I've seen ALL the Smallville eps. I've been a HUUUGE fan for years. It's from Season 6 or 7 but what was the episode called? Anyone??
I love superspeed :-D But you can notice, that actors are actually doing those "statues" :-) Some of them are slighty moving (for example Jimmy´s eyebrow 1:04).. That´s pretty interesting
and lastly, it is the no tights no flights rule. clark isnt depowered from flight because he needs to wear tights. its just the rule in which he becomes superman and the suit is his new symbol or icon for the world. they held that off for that purpose and not just that. those ten seasons were strictly trials that clark had to face. every little peice of history was a trial. veritas journals that the luthors had knew about the savour who comes to earth to bring light to the darkness.
@thebehmont1 . for people who dislike some of the scenarios of clarks bullet time in the higher seasons especially ten. i dont believe this is a mistake, moreless, its written so surrounding people who may see this going on will see the blur in a sign of hope that there is now this superhero guarding the world, were as back then, clark made saves fast enough so people werent aware of him as an alien imigrant, especially while lex was still holding suspicions about clark
you've both got a point (because it's impossible for us at the moment, and the comic world has completely different rules [or similar but still different rules and such]) running fast enough to travel in time (while not impossible in a space ship with warp capabilities, probably a bit out of our league for the next few millennia)
+DavudB1001 Yes thery can break the time barrier, but that doesn't mean they're faster than time, by time barrier they mean when you travel so fast you travel in time. That doesn't mean you're faster than time, because time dosn't have a veloctiy, you can't move faster than it, it just is. Or actually now that I think of it, Wally might've been faster than time, once. That's when he was ran through the universe in less than a plank instant which is the smallest unit of time. Still it's only a unit of time not time itself so he was technically faster than time but technically he wasn't if that made any sense.
There's a large sum of the Matrix trilogy done with 3D model composed on a computer screen. There's never been any effect on Smallville that looked as if it was a cut-scene in a video game. I also made my initial comment a long time ago, so I hardly care to go any further into this than I have now.
he can't fly because he was always defiant of his destiny when he was a teen, and he probably could be flying already if he had finished his training with jor-el, kara said that it was some sort of mental block or something, and the reason why bizzaro can fly and clark can't is because bizzaro took part of clarks dna and so he basically clark but without any of his true weaknesses, basically he is clark physically but not really mentally, so he doesn't have the mental block or whatever.
I asked for a clarification because it doesn't make much sense. Welling and Reeves both did most of their special effects shots in front of a green screen. They both did it pretty much the same way.
Why does everyone say that.. quicksilver walks around a room effortlessly messing people up and just chilling while bullets are literally almost at a stand still and that wasn't even his full speed cause he used super speed in super speed and they didn't show that point of view ... Clark still has to noticeably try to catch up or out run bullets..
@@tbducky4136 lol sike due Clark walked up to bulleting fireing from a uzi point blank range when green arrow and Lois was getting shot Smallville Clark dust quicksilver easily
except bizzaro was evil, and had a hunger for murder.. he saved chloe because he needed her for he computer skills.. they cudnt coexist, as bizzaro is an evil alien.
I know people where talking about it a couple years ago and probably don't care anymore. But so that it looks like time has stopped if you move at mach 112k probably less, I know this because Quicksilver in X-men was moving that fast and it looked like time stopped and 112k isn't even close to the speed of light.
mach 112k : the number after mach means the amount of times you're going faster than sound.., mach 112.000 x 1225 km/h = 137.000.000 km/h.. 38.000 km/s a bit more than 1/10 of the speed of light . still that'd be fast enough to complete a run around the equator in a sec . don't think Clark's ever moved even that fast in the entire serie...Probably Bart did , when he became invisible even to clark who was running at a speed that made him invisible to normal humans.
@LAHrebirth no. the last half is right, but every epic stunt that neo does is done by the video effects team, and if you do your research, keanu has his own cgi team.
