For real. I used to watch as a kid and hate how all he did was mope and pine. Then the Lois seasons came about and he finally learnt how to smile/use a bit of wit. One of the few on screen superhero relationships where it actually makes the hero a better character.
Yes, I know. He makes sure she does not hurt herself when she hits him. Remember Lois hurt her hand when Clark was not paying attention in the episode when he fought Titan. Clark allows Lois to punch him. It is cute. In Rabid, he stopped her from making that friendly little punch. I like Clark and Lois.
I wish shows and movies spent more time focusing on how incredibly hard living a normal live surrounded by squishy humans is for Clark, and the unbelievable control he needs to have to pull it off. Lois should shatter every bone in her hand when she slugs Clark there. He manages to lean slightly and move with the punch just enough so that she still connects, but doesn't hurt herself. Every single touch in his life is like that.... Its insane.
Smallville was the best thing they could ever give us! The exploration of Superman's HUMAN SIDE and his early years before he became Superman. I think I will purchase the DVD Collection! Tom Welling was the perfect choice for Clark Kent... given the fact that this Character is very very complex and soooo well written!
I agree but only to a point. The show writers and producers started to want to make him Superman far too much in mine and my circles estimation. Too many villains from the actual Superman's rose gallery, that Clark should've and would not have been tasked to take on and in no way would the world be prepared for. Him being Clark from Smallville along with some adventures would made this a perfect 10/10 show.
@@Pokerface-tr1ds As a matter of fact, yes! When you talk about wanting to purchase the DVD Collection to watch the perfect choice play the HUMAN SIDE of your favorite Character, you do sound a little uncanny! You sound like you're regurgitating message boards from 2002. Like Superman's humanity and early years haven't been depicted in numerous projects since, to better effectiveness. It's fine if you like Smallville and felt something from it. I remember it fondly as a soap opera I couldn't not keep tuning into. Maybe I'm just exhausted from encountering enough "this is the BeSt Superman Clark Kent casting of AlL tImE" types of comments that your word choice here sounds like an algorithm gobbled those comments up and condensed them into this. "best casting of all time haha lol I want to purchase the box set Tom welling is the GOAT 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐" That's what I heard.
I wish that Lucy stuck around longer. Instead of the cousin relationship between Lois and Chloe I’d rather see the sisterly relationship between the Lane girls.
sigh - back when the CW DC universe was more about the drama than the tights. This will always be my Lois and Clark - more attractive looking couple than the current.
But in this scene is so romantic for lois and clark how she ran and punch him and stand right next to him why couldn't she admit her feelings toward him instead of trying to hold it in
I was glad that Lucy Lane came back in Season 10 but to me she should had been part of the cast in Smallville S8-10 and be Jimmy’s new love interest in the series
Lois and Clark totally meant for each other, despite sure Lois sure can be a miss bossy pants, enjoyed rubbing each other off in tease which because of her attitude started it though lol!😂 when she punches Clark shoulder no effect when he’s steel! Only how come didnt injure Lois’s fist when should effect her🤷🏻♂️
