Their story was very well written. It wasn't forced It was natural (Which we don't get to see nowadays in dc's shows) the lines, chemistry, eye contact everything about them was pure perfection.
@@Osena565 no they didn't they took exactly the time needed, in the comics they have a long history. And in the new superman and lois tv show it's very clear they had a long history, and one of em is clearly not over the other....
The punching in the arm, that's Lois' way of showing Clark affection. She likes him but didn't wanna get close to him. And he allowed her to hit him. It's their way of showing love. That's why in the episode of Rabid, at the end Lois was gonna down play her feelings and punch Clark like she always did. But Clark grab her arm and you can see he moves in closer to her, eye flirtation from both. Same eye flirtation in these older seasons. love how this show, showed Clois beginnings.
There's a lot of foreshadows in thid show like in season 5 episode 13 The reporter girl who saved Martha. Pushed Lionel through a 4 story window, and clark had to save him. Nearly, 2 exact seasons later Lex shove Lionel through that exact window leading him to his death.
"U r amazing, smallville. U always look for the best in people even if they walk all over u." Strong quote, one that is for true heroes and one that always evades me.
I have to say, Superman and Lois has some pretty good chemistry within its cast. Granted it's nothing compared to Smallville's Clois, it's close enough that I can feel nostalgic about it
@@thierrydessureault9846 That's so true but I guess I was mainly focusing on couples that are canonically together and unfortunately Snowbarry just never got that chance and (I'm not an avid Supergirl viewer but) Karamel didn't last T^T
The song and background atmosphere made this scene perfect that is so representative in Clark and Lois' relationship, they had always liked each other but were not yet ready to show their love. The way Clark and Lois look to each other simply shows that their love was true, then Clark sees through his telescope two shooting stars crossing and leaving a glow, those stars were Clark and Lois, their fate together began to write...
I've got this metaphorical theory about the stars so there's two shooting stars, one slow and one just zooming Clark's the slower one, the unsure boy who's just trying to find himself in a world where he is an outsider. and then there's Lois, the shooting star who lives up to her name. she just launches herself into clark's life, knocking him completely off-course than he planned. But the beautiful thing is from Lois' influence, Clark finds himself, he gets brighter, he gets faster. It truly brings meaning to the notion that there is no Superman without Lois Lane.
Wow it's crazy! Watching this Live on Tv as a kid I would have never thought in a million years that Clark would end up with Lois (this was when I had no clue Clark Kent's soul mate was Lois lane) but looking at this scene now there is so much foreshadowing their future together, man I miss this show so much.
most people new Clarke wasn't going to end up with lana I mean in the comics Clarke and lois were one of the most iconic couples ever I am surprised you never heard of them when the show was on I'm pretty sure when lois was first introduced the whole clana fandom was like ohhhhhh fuck I knew about clois and I hadn't even read the comics
Lois and Clark were iconic from the films, too. I never read the comics, but I watch Christopher Reeves and Dean Cain. Lol I only just discovered Smallville (I never watched it when it aired) a month ago and I’m hooked!
Dude you didn’t know Lois and Superman were gonna end up together I mean how were you just watching as a show like even I knew that and I wasn’t much w Superman fan in the past never watched any of the movies and still knew
It's obvious that clar likes lois, but he hides his feelings being rude and making jokes of lois. I think this scene it's perfect, perfect music, acting and dialogues. I loved this episode
Wow amazing scene! And I agree with Ana Faria... if it had begun there... 'oh we're friends now..'... their facial expressions....mythic line! They were just perfect there....you can see the start of clois right there!
They were absolute perfection. Smallville was the best Clois period. DC hit the high with Smallville but when it ended it's like the soul left anything linked to DC. #SmallvilleStandsTheTestOfTime.
I miss this show! Its my favorite of all time and I think it just connected with me because not only am I a Superman fan, but the characters were relatable.
Erica and Tom made magic for 7 years!! It seemed to take forever but as the seasons passed you could see the chemistry developing into very close friends and then lovers and soulmates!! Well written and well acted character arcs!!
Still remember the first time saw this episode for the first time Erica Durance just bring a whole new excitement in Lois Persona, the best lois in my opinion Love the scene and the background music perfectly match "now it all begin" and Clois did begin
The comments below are really intriguing. You all impress me. You really do cause I didn't sense any chemistry between Lois & Clark until the 9th season. Gotta commend yall for being observant and spotting these subtle Easter eggs out throughout the first stages of their relationship. Either I'm dumb as hell😅 or they should've at least given Clois as much screen time and development as Clana. Can't believe they dragged Clana for 7-8 seasons. Smh. That was an exhausting relationship.
i watch it live and for me the chemistry was there at the moment they meet, every easter egg for the future was great, thats why i hate they dragged Clana so much xD
That last line from tom to Erica was real. Lol. I love the way he winked at her after he said I won't tell anyone if you don't lol. Who knew?? Wow. Oh wait I did. Lol they were falling in love off set as well on set. Tom stalking Erica with those eyes of his. Tom admitted he stalked Erica back then. Lol. Those looks and smiles and flirts. Y'all really thought they were acting?? Haha oh fans. Y'all Need to learn what fake love is and what real love is. This was real love.
