@KyodaiKen1979 they know, thus why they purchased LANA *grin widely* that is why Adam chased her down, to HUNT CLARK,,, why Jason wanted to HURT Clark becaus he knows in his heart that Lana's heart belong to Clark and that is why LEX planned so long and so carefully to HAVE HER, because he wanted Clark's life, and to BREAK CLARK as well! Lex is a smart guy, and he knows that the only way to defeat Clark was to take the ONLY girl he loved away from him
i just watched this episode and i never understood that either. maybe the kryptonite radiation effected the phone line somehow ( since meteor rocks effect everything differently) but 1 thing i wish was explained was why did the phone call have to go back to THAT exact moment? *sigh* smallville fans will never know.....

Believe this and sincerely repent of your sins each time you sin and you will have eternal life and nothing to fear. Fail to repent and you will end up in the Lake of Fire.
